"Tempest. I own this branch." He said then remembered something. "Hey. What pins did you want?"

Ray smiled up at him, thankful that he seemed a bit more comfortable around him now. "Yea, I... heh, yea. S'pose I did get what I asked for, though, a new life. Again. And again... if I'm lucky, I get to stay somewhere a few months, and occasionally get to visit a place twice. With all the other creatures here, though, I might actually get to stay here. I'm kinda tired of travelling, ya know?" he chuckled, nodding after a moment.
"What... if you don't mind my asking, what were your family like?"

"My mom...cared too much. My dad didn't like me, all because I dated a guy once. My older brother... was interesting, to say the least." Draco shrugged. "I miss them, but I'm also kind of glad to be rid of them. I'm sure they're getting along better without me."

"I suppose... I dunno, you may want to a least see them, before it's too late..." he muttered, then shook his head. "But that sounds super sad 'n stuff, sooo we can just move on. So, how's Wellbell been treatin' ya so far?" he smiled, looking up at Draco with wide eyes. At least this boy was interesting, unlike the rest of the town. Despite their individual afflictions, they all seemed dreadfully... ordinary to Ray. This one was different, though, and in a wonderful way.

"Chill. Nice to meet you too." Tempest opens the cash register and writes a note to himself.

"Well, it was great, because I thought there weren't any vampires here, but you proved me wrong." Draco stuck out his tongue at the vampire. "I've probably been here longer than you. Shouldn't I be asking you that question?"
Draco had finally relaxed. The vampire didn't seem...all bad.

He's still a vampire, though. Be careful...

Ray laughed to himself, deciding not to mention that he'd smelled at least two other vampires around town. "You probably have, but that don't mean I can't be hospitable, does it? Ya know, for a hunter, your room seems pretty normal. I figured you'd have, like, stakes and garlic lining your walls or something silly like that," he said, changing the subject.

[The Dead]

Draco gave Ray a funny look. "Why would I? That does nothing to vampires. You kill them by chopping their heads off. And don't get too cozy, I have a machete hidden in here somewhere~."

"Do vampires have to sleep?" Draco asked, curious.
