Kayla smiled a little bit. "I wish I had wings- but they did useless experiments on me." She motioned to her perfectly sculpted body. She turned back to his wings, "Is it okay if I touch them again? They're so soft."

Ethan - 19 - Essie
He growled low, a murderous sound, and bared his deadly sharpened teeth at him. "Fine, seeing there nothing I can do about it now, besides giving you a warning, stay away from her, or else." He threw him down and stalked back over to Essie.

" mine are useless too, believe me." the young man gave a rather rare laugh. " you can touch them all you like as long as you're careful." he fixed his hair with his fingers, something he did often enough. his wings were cramping badly, mostly from keeping them as close to his body as he could to not touch anyone with them.

Essie looked at the ground. The feeling from the gouges in her back was starting to come back- and it hurt. She sighed, wanting nothing more than peace- and someone to hug and tell her she would be okay. But that was a privilege here in the lab- not an option.

Kayla smiled. "They're beautiful." She ran her fingers through his feathers gently, and ones that were out of place set back to where they should be.

Jesse - 18 - Thinks he's alone
He thought he heard something, but his heart was pounding in his ears so he couldn't tell. He let out a small, terrified noise and struggled in the chains.

Ethan - 19 - Essie
He took her hand again and started walking out. He looked over and could see the pain in her eyes, and he swished he could do more.

Essie looked at her wings as they left, and noticed their blue tint was dull now. She leaned against Ethan, hoping he didn't mind it.

I frowned. Things were definitely not alright. I looked at the door and tried the handle to find it locked. I dug into my pocket for a paperclip, i wascrazy enough to carry them, and bent it out of shape before doing quick work on the lock. I opened it and walked in, seeing the boy. I quickly went over to him and looked the shackles over " what happened?" I gasped, testigthe chains, looking around them for somensort of locking mechanism.

As i made my way down the hallway, i was dump enough to have misplaced my footing, missing aomething in the steps and managing to trip myaelf up, landing me on the ground. I let out a gasp and winced. Stupid clumsy footing. I groaned and pushed myself up off the floor, leaning against the wall to calm my racing heart down.

Jess saw a boy fall and rushed forward. "Oh, my god, are you okay?" Her hands hovered over him nervously. She noticed he was blind, but that didn't bother her.

Ethan - 18 - Essie
He didn't mind, he even wrapped an arm around her shoulder as they headed out.

Jesse - 18 - Aurora
He was shaking pretty badly, rattling the chains. "T-they found me." He whimpered, staring out the door and taking in the light that streamed in.

" I think so too. they fancy." he rolled his shoulders, then hearing a soft crack and grimacing. of course he looked over at this new girl as she set his feathers into place. " thank you, that was bothering me." there was only so far his arms could reach to fix his feathers, resulting in many painful patches across the apendages.
