Taighlare sighed as she glared at the papers in front of her. Scratching her head, she shook her head and turned away from the table and exited the planing tent. Their whole camp was getting smaller, she needed to think of something. There had to be a way to keep the dang corpses and walkers out of the borders or away from borders. Sure, they were in the forest away from the city, but the dead were getting hungry and restless. There was barely any food sources within the city so they were starting to move out. The leader had noticed this change in behavior a week or two ago. Tai really needed to talk with the two other leaders, Savannah and Andy, to see their opinions on this. Sighing, she shook her head again and ran her fingers through her bangs. Absentmindedly, the copper skinned nineteen year old brushed the pistols on her sides in reassurance she had her guns on her. She already knew of her mother's dagger in her riding boots. Maybe for now she would join a protector to patrol the borders for a bit to get her mind off somethings.

Taighlare arched a brow in curiosity as she heard some rattling going on in the kitchen. Wondering who was in there, she turned on her heel and walked towards it. Entering the kitchen, Tai blinked in slight surprise as she saw a certain ginger that was a hunter. His name was Tyler, right? "Hey, Tyler," she greeted, a bit uncertain as why she was in the kitchen.

Tyler jumped and turned around putting the kitten behind his back "h-hey" he said "you startled me"

Taighlare furrowed her brows with slight curiosity. He was acting a bit suspicious. Her violet and blue eyes try to peer at his hands, but couldn't see behind him. Blinking, she leaned back to her original position. "Oh, I didn't mean too," she replied, still trying to see what he was hiding. "Um, what are you hiding?" the brunette inquired curiously as raised a brow at him.

Tyler swallowed "nothing" he said not wanting to tell more people s out the kitten I case they do eat it

Taighlare tilted her head, what was he hiding or were her suspicions wrong? Knitting her brows together, she glanced to the side. "I'm not blind," she chuckled, "what are you hiding? It can't be that bad." The leader smiled slightly as blue and violet optics glanced back up at the ginger. What was Tyler hiding? It peaked her curiosity.

"I'm not stealing rations I swear!" Tyler said worried and the kitten mewed

Taighlare was a bit startled by his sudden outburst and leaned back with wide eyes. Holding up her hands, she shook her head and laughed awkwardly. "Hey, chill out. If I thought that, I would've accused you in the first place," she reassured, trying to calm him down as she continued, "heh, it's okay j-" Suddenly, there was a strange sound like a mew from a cat, or rather a kitten. Well, that was different. Leaning to the side, she quirked a brow. "Are you... hiding a cat...?" Tai asked, a quizzical expression on her face.
