Chase looked at the doctor, "What happened to me?" He asked finally. The doctor looked at him, "You got in a car accedent. There was a drunk driver on the road and you didn't notice him coming down the road and he smashed into you." He said. Chase nodded slowly and closed his eyes knowing he'd made a huge mistake.

Lily continued to sleep, oblivious to what had happened to her arranged suitor.

Chase woke up in the morning because he saw the sunset beaming in the window. He sighed.

Lily awoke the next morning with a yawn before going downstairs to make some breakfast. She turned on the tv as she passed.

Chase just laid there waiting till they would let him go.

Lily eventually heard about the crash on the local news and she immediately left her cereal and dressed, grabbing her things and going to the hospital. She eventually got there and found Chase's room number and she ran, entering the room.

Chase opened his eyes and sat up, "Lily?" He asked.

"Chase..." Lily spoke worriedly from the doorway.

Chase sighed and laid back down because he knew that the doctor would tell him to. Chase didn't want her to see him like this. It was all because he was stupid.

"Are you ok?" Lily asked him in her quiet worried tone of voice.
