"You tricked me?" I said. "Ugh, I can't believe you did that."

"I just showed you you could do it yourself. With the same rules as your dimension." Ashcroft explained. "I thought...nevermind. I guess it's no good then."

"What, you thought what?" I asked. I was happy that he showed me that I could do it but I couldn't let him know that. It would told ruin my whole not nice reputation.

"I thought you'd be more happy if you did it on your own." Ashcroft said as he sat on a quickly forming chair. "But I guess not. Oh well."

"I am happy," I admitted. I went over and picked up my bracelet, saying "so what do you want to do now?"

"That's the hardest thing for me. Since I have no feelings either positive or negative about things, I don't usually do much." Ashcroft said dryly. "So I just go day in and day out just living I suppose. Been around the block a couple hundred times through time to so chances are I've seen or heard of most things."
