"Yeah," Caleb smiled. "I've been told," he stepped out. "Come on, then."

Scythe hissed, "I can do that too." She unhinged her jaw and let out a scream like wail that carried for miles. The scientist screamed as he was temporarily deafened. She laughed as he looked about with a frantic expression.

He smiled and jumped out of the car. He grabbed his bag from the trunk and stood by his brother while staring at the house in excitement and happiness so this is home?! I'm home! I finally have a home, I finally belong somewhere! he thought.

[shybot]

"Come on in," Caleb opened the door, walking in to the warm house.

Scout yelped at the sound, dropping to her knees as her pupils diluted.

[little_light]

Cass stayed in her Thanator form, for she thought it would be more terrifying for the scientist to see the first of hr kind. She hissed and circled him, frowning at his pathetic struggles.
Scythe jumped at her yelp and was at her side immediately. She lied by her side and whimpered, What have I done? She thought I didn't mean to harm her, just the stupid human

"A-" Scout croaked, blinking a few times. "Eagle hearing - we can hear mice on the floor from ten kilometres away.."

[little_light]

"Sorry..." Scythe replied. "I thought it would be funny to watch the human writhe around. I didn't relie it would affect you." She said with pain in her eyes.

He hesitated before following his brother inside. He looked around with sparkling eyes. He was afraid to touch anything, it all seemed so perfect and almost frail to him as he didn't have the luxuries of having things except for the first five years of his life, well even then he was always living in fear of both his parents. The house smelt a lot like a dirty dog to him but it was way better than being alone in a cold concrete building.

Caleb hugged Max, rubbing his hair. "You're safe here - really." He said gently.

Scout shuddered. "It's okay.." She mumbled.

He smiled and hugged his brother back "thank you, thank you, thank you!" He said happily and giggled softly
