"I'm a Warlock. It takes years of unstopping training, killer headaches and passing out at random times," Caleb said to Akuma, pushing the blood bag slowly toward Max. "Please, Max. If you don't drink you'll get sick.."

[Ayato ototochan]

Max
His eye color darkened as his brother brought the blood bag closer to him. He grit his teeth and shook his head. He squeezed his eyes shut "I...I won't...I won't do it...I want...to be...normal...like you! I...I don't want to...to be what I am..." He strained and opened his eyes and looked at him. His blue eye was back to normal but his green eye was still red.

[shybot]

Caleb held his shoulders, breathing in deeply. "Don't try to fight it, Max. Only bad things happen when you do.."

[Ayato ototochan]

Max
He shook his head again "I...I won't! I'm not going to...to become a monster...I just won't! I can handle the pain...I...I just need to...calm down and then...I'll be fine..." He put his forehead on Caleb's chest as he was breathing heavily. After a few moments he finally got himself back under control. His eyes were back to normal and his fangs shrunk and were not visible to the eye unless he opened his mouth wide like yawning. He remained where he was though not wanting to pull away.

[shybot]

"Okay.." Caleb said gently, holding Max's back with closed eyes. "You can't fight it forever, though. There are others like you. You're not a monster, Max."

[OrangeLeaf]

Akuma stared at him a little bit awkwardly.
"I can get you some rest...but don't tell Louise...or anyone else..."
She walked to him and gave him a blue colored substance.
"I actually wanted to give you so I could control your dreams to grant your wish, but it works without the dream-controlling thing too."

[Ayato ototochan]

Max
"Thank you big brother" he murmured almost childishly. He hesitated "I...I know I can't but I don't want to turn out like my mum. She loved you so much but me, ha both she and dad could careless about me. Who wants a part human part vampire child, a monstrous child" he added echoing his mother. He gave Akuma a side glance "vampires do dream by the way...but they are a little darker than most human dreams" he murmured and glanced at the blue substance, scanning it carefully.

Caleb nodded lightly and held Max's back. "It's not a problem," he said back. "You're not going to turn out like her. You won't.." He promised, and rested his chin on his younger brother's head. "Nothing says that you have to turn out like them." He then looked back at Akuma. "Warlocks don't dream - we see memories and twist them."

[OrangeLeaf]

"Oh, so they do dream...seems I just can't control it...it doesn't matter...it won't do anything by the way, just put you to sleep. So no worries. I am a woman of my heart."
She turned around again.
"If have done some terrible thing, but I have never broken a promise..."
She smiled softly.
"You are lucky. You have someone to care for. I only have Louise, and she is just a friend."

Max
He hugged his brother gently but was silent. He didn't know how to respond. He was so used to thinking that he would turn out like his mother that he started walking on eggshells to try and make sure he didn't. He always fought himself as well. He smiled hearing Akuma "they are more like nightmares then dreams. Vampires dream about dark things most of the time. Sometimes they dream about wanting to take over the world killing every human and any other species that is not vampire. However also being part human my memories tend to deep into my dreams causing even more nightmares and terror but instead of it being about the whole world and killing off everything but vampires it's about all the terror I had to go through or what I witnessed" he muttered. He sighed softly "I don't care if you do see my dreams but they might end up giving you nightmares as well" he cautioned. He smiled "I am lucky but you are lucky as well. A friend is almost like a family member. They care about you and you care about them. The same goes for families...well most families" he muttered and his hair fell over his eyes.
