The Town ~Open and Accepting~

[~Coddie~]

Jordan kissed her forehead, he hugged her and sighed then looked up at the roof of the elevator. "It's going to be a long ride..." He whispered.

[mishka.]

Amika closed her eyes, straining not to think about where she was, but by Jordan. Nashe looked up at the ceiling then back at Jordan. "What were you talking about? Backtrack here I mean. What do you mean it was your fault?"

[~Coddie~]

Jordan looked down into her eyes, "are you really sure you want to know?..."

[mishka.]

Amika tried not to stare at him coldly. "Why else would I ask?"

[~Coddie~]

Jordan sighed, he closed his eyes and gritted his teeth. "Everything... This whole place, it was my fathers... I didn't want any part of it... He got angry and threw us into the place."

[mishka.]

Amika looked at him confused. She looked down at her feet, deep in thought.

[~Coddie~]

Jordan sighed, "my father was the creator of this whole place. When he died I was supposed to take over, I didn't want any part of it" he closed his eyes. "We were friends before we were thrown into the town..." he could feel tears forming in his eyes, "if you didn't know me... You wouldn't have been put in there with me as a punishment."

[mishka.]

Amika backed away just a bit, trying to comprehend what Jordan was saying. She turned to look at the opposite wall, her eyes clouded over as she thought more and more about it. Even though she had turned away, she didn't let go of Jordan's hand. "How come... How come you didn't remember this until now?"

[~Coddie~]

"Because they brainwashed us not to remember..." tears slid down his cheeks and he slumped back into the corner of the elevator, he looked down at the ground in shame.

[mishka.]

Amika felt a hot tear run down her cheek. She back handed it away and stood motionless for a few long seconds. After a bit she walked over to Jordan and sat neck to him. "So... We were friends before?" She smiled, taking hold of one of his hands.
