Jade was almost to the group of people. As she ran, her blue hair flew back behind her. "Hey! Guys!" She called out to the group. She noticed a couple of them had unusual colors for hair, similar to her, Kindle, and Lo's. It made her feel better seeing people who were also different. All her life she had grown up believing she was a freak. The blue haired weirdo that would do things with water. Not anymore. Now she was part of something, a group of people. She was finally starting to feel like she belonged somewhere.

He did not like being around a lot of other people with powers, especially since he didn't trust people very easily. Shifting uncomfortably, he turned his attention away from the group and looked over the ocean.

Sweet. We're all freaks here. Pretty attractive freaks, none-the-less. And boy did he enjoy getting a raise out of purple death queen. He probably shouldn't call her that aloud if he valued all his body parts. Which he did. See, he was smart. His head jerked in the direction he heard a high pitch, very feminine voice. Her hair was fiery red and she wasn't alone. He knew odd hair colors were a thing, but he dyed his to look less conspicuous.. A lot of help that did him. "Hi there!" He waved to the newcomers with an equally goofy expression on his face. Keep it light. Keep the smile. Don't break. They had to survive. He had to stay positive.
