Paige frowned, "No, I didn't hear anything about that. I spend most of my time alone so I don't get news all that often." she explained. When they finally made it to her home they had to open a a wooden door in the ground to get in since she lived underground.

Max "Oh come on underground again?" he said facing Paige not wanting to go in the house

Paige smiled and nodded, "Yup, I live underground now move." she poked him with her axe to get him to go down the rather long and steep steps that led to her actual home underground.

Max sighed and started walking down the steps "If your leader had to come here would he have to change back into his human form?" he asked actually not knowing

Paige shrugged, "I don't think he'll come here but I don't believe he would have to shift back to get down here. In all honesty it might be easier as a panther since they have good balance and these stairs are really steep." she admitted. Paige opened another door at the end of the stairs that led into her home, it opened up into a small living room sort of area with a kitchen diagonally to the right and a hallways on the left that led to her room and a guest room.

Max "Oh so he is your new leader I wasn't sure" he said with a little grin then he looked around the house his hood that had went on his head on the way down and his hands in the pockets of his jacket

Paige wasn't all that concerned about Max finding out that Alex was their new leader considering the fact that he was just Doctor with probably nothing to harm him with if he did show up here,
"Give me your bag." she said holding out her free hand to receive the item from Max.

Max "Why? My medical stuff is in there and a couple other things" he said facing Paige hi bag on his back

"Because I don't trust you and I don't know what you can do with that medical stuff so hand it over or I'll have to take it from you." Paige kept her hand out still waiting for Max to cooperate. She was starting to have second guesses about being Lead Warrior, if this is what her job entailed now she wasn't sure she liked it too much. Sure Paige was fine killing people but that was in the heat of battle where things didn't seem so blurred like they did right then. She wondered if the two of them would have gotten along had the question of sides not come up because they had seemed alright before then. Paige shook her head pushing the thought from her mind as she insisted on the bag.

Max "No... Alex!" he was able to say before Alex appeared in his human form jumping on Max taking the bag with a childish look on his face and giving it toPaige

Alex was just sitting on Max's stomach like if it was normal "Paige this is my friend from when I was young but we lost contact after a while with my dad creating all this 'war' and him learning how to be a doctor young" he said looking like a kid even if he was the same age as her
