Lai adjusted the glasses the best she could, they were a bit too large, and looked up at John. "...Thanks..." She gave a slight, sheepish smile and then pushed the glasses up again as they fell forward on her nose.

" well you did a nice job." I comment, nodding a bit " your visual eye is a lot better than mine, thats for sure. You look at something and see what it could be rather than what it is. Something i consider to be a gift." I tell her, eyes glinting a bit. My eyes tended to smile for me more than my lips did. Be it good or bad i didn't know, considering not a lot of people could or wanted to read my eyes.

"Thanks," I say softly. "It's not too useful though. Sometimes you need to see what's really there." My eyes lower a bit. "And you have to accept it." My smile disappears, hair falling into my face as I lower my head sadly.

John smiled softly back and nodded. "No problem. They look better on you then they ever did on me." He gave a smirk before pulling down his hat to block out the bright sun. He stretched his muscles, which caused short bursts of pain to run throughout his whole body, but it had definitely gotten better compared to a few hours ago.
