He shrugged "I dunno...you could try...but...be careful!"

Eric nodded. "I will." He looked at max before closing his eyes and concentrating. Speaking softly through e bond to Max. "Hey little brother. How you holding up kiddo?" he asked while he searched max's side of the bond for the power.

He nodded and watched

Max
He didn't move but got the message "everything....everything hurts...I...I can't open my eyes...I'm scared of dying! I don't want to die!" He responded

Eric frowned to himself but spoke gently. "Your not going to die. I won't let you." He search some more before finding it and tried to find a way to remove either absorb and rid of it. He kept talking to Max not to frighten him. "What you wanna do after this Maxy? You wanna get something to eat? or go to the movies or something?"

"I...I want to be by your side forever!" He replied

Eric slowly absorbed it into his hand with a small geunt of pain. "Jesus kid...How'd you even manage a few seconds?!" He said to himself. "You do?" He said, "Well its a good thing. That's what brothers-Do" hands shaking.

Max
His body slowly relaxed some "can I...can I really...be with you forever? I...I would really like that!" He replied

Peter
He continued watching and sighed

Eric smiled. "Sure can kiddo. As long as I am still kicking." Absorbs a good amount of his powers and opens his eyes and looks at Peter, drained from all this. "I think..he should be good for a while.... "

Max
"Thank you...big brother..." He replied. His body became even more relaxed but he still didn't wake

"I hope...but...what about you? Your body isn't used to this...it can be dangerous!"

"no problem Maxy... " Looks at Peter and sits back. Runs hands through his hair. Eric had to admit, he wasn't feeling to good now. "I'm going to be fine. If it makes you feel better, I know im not going to die."
