He looked away "there isn't anything we can do...if he keeps using his powers it will put a huge strain on him...but if he dosen't it will do the same exact thing if not worse...Bella might have something for him but...I cannot guarantee he will make it much longer..." He sighed "but chances are...his body might just be to small to contain all of that power...maybe as he grows up it will be better..." He said softly

"So what? We make him human? Cause there is nothing else but ss that can help him. I can't do that to him." Eric gently held max to him.

"He is already human! We all are! We can try to help him without SS though!"

Eric sighed. "And all the SS does when its injected is make him hate us. That's all it ever does. To all of us. " I tilt my head. But it stabilizes him, but the effects aren't healthy for him. " Lifting up his shirt and show peter The gunshot scars. "Peter four of them are from max. I almost died. "

"I know what the SS does...but I don't think it is the only thing that can help him!" He murmured. His eyes widened seeing the gunshot scars "Max...he shot you four times?!"

Eric nodded some. "I don't think it was Him him, but the SS that controls him. I don't blame him. But I hate seeing him so upset after." Puts shirt down a bit self conscious.

He sighed "he is like most of us...we can't fight the SS...even if we try...and then we end up killing people...I have seen it done countless times...and I have used it I myself to become immune...and even I have hurt people...like Max and my parent in that fire...or car crash which is what Max remembered...but even so...it's hard not to self destruct after those kinds of things...so it's normal that Max would get upset..." He murmured and ran a hand through his hair

Eric looked at Max then Peter. "I hate that he can't live with out it, but it seems its the only thing that stabalizes him. " Sighs. "So we have to go back and get SS? I don't think the base is in any shape to be strolled into. The guards are going to be on high alert with Eleven and Darryl hurt."

"Max doesn't need SS...that will only make him go insane...what he needs is to get some of that powers retained until he is old enough to get it back without it hurting him...however I don't know anyone who could take some of his powers away without actually killing him...but he can't go back on ss or he might never come back to us..." He said softly

Eric thinks a moment. "Do you think I could do something with the bond? like use the bond and try to help restrain his power?" He asks. maybe he could help max, cause physical max couldn't handle it. but what if He could help.
