He nodded and closed his eyes and concentrated "I don't know this one...I sense...a little happiness...maybe a hint of confusion and fear?" He murmured

"Y...ya..." He said flinching ever so slightly when the older male out a hand on his shoulder. He looked at the male, his brilliant blue eyes were filled with fear. He was used to the tests but this time he thought he would try something different and run away from one. He did fear the tests but he feared the other soldiers and the head of the government more than anything.

"Its OK, I will escort you to your room then and put a break on your records for today." He said standing back up and walking him back forwards the base. Eric didndidnt like the testing but it was nessasary. "so what's your name?" He asked while he scanned his card and walked through the halls to Mass room.

With that he smiled and opened his eyes. "Remeber?"

He frowned at first and then smiled "I remember I remember!" He opened his eyes "that was the same day we first met right?!"

"yeah but roads mean people and people mean the scientists, and if we get near people we will just get captured again and put right back in the lab. Im actually suprized no one has come looking for us already." Brook said

"Because I got to meet my best friend." He grinned.

Eric chuckled and hugged him.

"It's far better than walking in some random direction. 'Sides, we can stay in the forest and follow the general direction that the road leads too. And....I don't want to go more than three days without finding some kind of river or stream. I-" he was interrupted by his brother.

"Johns a clean freak. Another reason he was an indoor kid and had no friends" he smirked

John growled "I had friends. Smarter ones than yours too" he muttered in defense.
