Kukki (For Michael)

"Truth or dare?" I asked with a grin. "I loved that game when I was a kid! I pulled off the most wicked dares, it was unbelievable!"
I read through his and smiled.
"Not half bad! The headmaster won't mind too much, and the kids might seriously enjoy it. It's a great idea!"
I was glad he'd come up with something. A lot of the kids seemed really bored, and we were barely a day in and already people were trying to break out. Something like this could really cheer them up, and as Michael said, could bring them close.

Violet (For Alexis and Sam)

I gripped the sides of my wheelchair as she pushed me out, muttering that I was more than capable of pushing myself, but she didn't seem to hear.
When she stopped the boy walking past, I sighed.
"I'm fine, thanks," I said to Alexis. I didn't want to seem rude or anything to her, but she was a bit too intense for me. And the boy she stopped seemed like a moody so-and-so. But I didn't try to wheel myself away. Partly because I didn't want to upset Alexis, but partly because I reckoned a bit of fast-pace would be welcome in this school.

Cyprian (For Domenic)

I nodded.
"Don't worry, I''ll have it covered," I replied, worried about how ill he looked. "You should go and get some rest. It's not good for you to be out in that state."
(Writer's block on Cyprian's front.)
Sorry, everyone. I'm trying to delete this account, I don't use it and it's a bit of a waste. So bye, everyone. T-T

Clara looked up at him not very impress "not yet..." she said calmly before looking back out to the fence "not that it would be very hard... maybe even easy with all the guards slacking off so much although there is you... now you might be hard to run from... you look like you know a bit about escape" she shuffled over not really liking how he was just leaning over her, in fact it was kind of annoying her how he just thought he should run up and talk to her "your brother is a bit of an crazy one..." she said after a bit of silence, she didn't trust him although she did kind of- maybe - just a little bit- like having someone to talk with

Domenic (sort of for Cyprian)

Domenic nodded vaguely. He wasn't sure whether the boy could stand guard all on his own, but then again he needed to get some sleep, otherwise he wouldn't be able to perform his guarding duties normally.
"Thanks," he muttered, walking away towards his bedroom. Once he was inside, he lay down and huddled himself in his blanket.
I'll just take a short nap and then I can get going again, he told himself. But only moments later, he had already fallen into a deep sleep.

-------

Alexis (for Violet, Sam, Jaylon and Suta)

"Hmph," Alexis laughed at Violet and Sam's coldness. Both of them seemed too grumpy for her likings, and too grumpy to like her as well: maybe they'd have more fun just being grumpy together. "I guess I'll leave you alone then. Have fun being bored and lonely, or go share your eternal grumpiness: whatever pleases you most! Bye!" She briefly stuck her tongue out, then turned her back to them, leaving them alone together, and she rushed to Jaylon and Suta.

"So what did you say just now?" she asked Jaylon, then found the text in his notebook and jumped up in excitement, but at the same time looking a little scared. She had a new plan all of a sudden, and it was both a great and a scary thought that it might actually work this time.
"I need voodoo material…" she muttered. "Clay won't be too easy to find, but needles or other sharp objects are probably against the rules…" She thought for a moment. "Kukki must have some, though: she is an art teacher after all… And hey! We can say that we need it for your art project, because that's also about voodoo! What do you two think?" Her eyes flitted back and forth between Jaylon and Suta, while her mind was on her plan.

-----

Michael

Michael beamed at Kukki's compliment. He loved the feeling of being approved of, a feeling he hadn't had so much of when he was younger. Kukki really was the greatest friend he could imagine.
"You know," he told her, "I think I know why you're so awesome! It's because you are a lot like me, and at the same time kind of like my sister Lucy, and then at the same time you are also your very own unique personality! Because like me, you're cheerful and talkative and try to help everyone, and like my sister, you're artistic and good at understanding people, and all put together you are unique and there's no-one like you! I'm so lucky to have you as a friend!"

He smiled, then suddenly wondered something. "Hey, do you actually have any siblings? I don't really know much about your family…"

------

Jared

Jared laughed, still standing over her. "You're right: I'm a much better guard than the other three put together. One of them's already gotten herself fired, and I'm willing to bet the other two will be long gone by Thursday! And what'll H-… Mr. Gru-…" He just caught himself from saying 'Headmaster Warren' like he used to when he was still a student, and then when he started to call him by the name Kukki made up for him, he quickly stopped himself as well. He didn't want to use his bully victim's nicknames.
"… Walty…" he continued, "what'll Walty say when there are no more guards? He'll probably want to hire me! But then I can't teach history anymore…" He contemplated whether he would rather be a guard or a history teacher. He wasn't really sure.

He laughed again at her calling Michael Lee 'crazy'. "You think Michael Lee is crazy? Then you haven't met Danny yet: he's probably working at the circus as a clown right this moment! Michael's problem isn't so much craziness as that part of him thinks he is Danny and another part thinks he is some wonderful psychologist! I really don't know how that last bit happened: he was never like that at home… Then again, I didn't see much of him when I was at the Institute…"

Thinking about his time at the Institute didn't make him feel sorry for Clara, but still it made him feel like he could relate a tiny tiny bit… "You know why I know a bit about escape?" he asked her. "It's because I've tried to escape from this darn place myself! And here I have returned as a teacher: I'm sure… Walty… hates having to recognize me as a colleague! Funny imagining you in a couple years, teaching here and kicking that dumb headmaster's ass!" He chuckled at the idea of Clara as a teacher.

------

Headmaster Warren

After speaking to the guards, Walt had been alone for a while now, just sitting in his office doing paperwork and painting. It was quite peaceful and he hoped no-one would intrude, so that he could get lost in his art.

He made a painting of a happy family to add to his collection on the wall, but when took a better look at it, he realized he had accidentally made the father look like himself and the mother look like Felicia Heideman. This bothered him somehow, so he hid the painting in a desk drawer and started on a new one, using different shades of brown, grey and purple to form a dark background, on top of which, when the background was dry, he would use lighter colors to paint a happy but serious family.

Clara leaned back on the tree not really listening "I will never be a teacher..." she muttered looking away "I am not at all interested in doing any schooling here and even if I did I don't think I would catch up on what I lost... I hope to get out of this place asap and go back to the streets till I am old enough to get some stupid job at a fast food restraint where I will earn hardly a cent till I can get enough money saved up or stolen to catch a plane far FAR away from all of this..." she said annoyed " I will grow old and die alone with nothing to show for my life, simple" she crossed her arms and glared up at him "you are the person keeping me here, those other guys I can run from and I almost did till you showed up" she looked back down and was quite for a little while just letting the soft breeze brush agented her face "and the thing with your brother is he is too over the top, he might be good at his job if he was slower and carmer, if you where any kind of a brother you would not cear he was annoying , you would be helping him and trying to stop other people hurting him" she got up and tossed her torn up back pack on her back "I'm bord now so bye" she said walking off still not shore what to think about Jared or even really his brother

Kukki

I smiled at his compliments. I loved hanging out with Michael. He had a way of making you feel good about yourself.
"Siblings?" I replied when he asked. "Nope, it's just me. Only child. Though I'd have loved to have a brother or sister. How great would that be? You had a bunch of them, didn't you?"
I remembered him bringing up his siblings a couple of times. It seemed like he had a really interesting family.

Violet

I laughed quietly. Bored and grumpy. I guessed someone as bubbly and random as Alexis would see me as grumpy and boring. I looked at the boy that she was talking to. He seemed withdrawn and moody. I wondered if he was really like that, or it was just a protective shell. You could never really tell. I nodded to him, silently.

Jaylon

I jumped a little at her sudden enthusiasm. What was she thinking? I could never tell. Probably something insane. That was usually how it was.
I guess we could... I scribbled, quickly. Why? What do you have in mind?

Victor

I smiled, nodding at my classroom set up. Everything I needed was sorted out. I checked my watch, and raised an eyebrow. It looked like it was dinner. And, on reflection, I still hadn't spoken to the headmaster. I hung my lab coat o the back of the door, smoothing out my un-tucked shirt, and found my way to his office. I knocked on the door, hoping he was in.

((Apologies, I may be suffering from mild writers block, so nothing astoundingly exciting happened in any of those posts.))

Sam
He narrowed his eyes and turned and glared at her but said nothing and then looked at the girl in the wheelchair. He grit his teeth and then stormed off towards his room and curled up on his bed shivering. He squeezed his eyes shut "I hate it here!" He whimpered.

Michael (for Kukki)

"Yeah, I sure did," he answered. "I really wish I knew you back then: I could've lent you some of them! Danny was my favorite: we were always together, though our relationship was kind of mixed since I was kind of jealous of him and stuff… He was always goofing around and playing pranks, and I loved to join in. I loved my sisters too, especially Lucy: she was kind of quiet, but someone you can rely on. Chelsea was a bundle of fun, and I loved playing with her at times, but other times I liked her less, 'cause she was 'mommy's favorite' and clung to her all the time, and also, she liked to tattle on me and Danny when we were naughty." He laughed, thinking back at these memories: he didn't really blame Chelsea for tattling, after all she was only a little kid at the time.

"I always hated Peter, my oldest brother," he continued. "He was bossy and sided with dad all the time and encouraged Chelsea's tattling, and all that ever came from his mouth was criticism. But the worst about him was how he always assumed I was just the same as Danny, when in fact we were very different…" He realized this, unlike Chelsea's behavior, still bothered him, and also that it bugged him how Jared claimed he wanted to be just like Danny. "I'm just me, right?" he asked Kukki, grinning broadly to try to keep himself from getting upset. "I'm not fake, and I'm not imitating anyone or anything, and I am proud to be me!"

He realized then that he hadn't mentioned anything about Jared, so he added: "I didn't like Jared either back then, but he didn't bother me as much as he does now… Not that I'm bothered by anything, but anyways: he was much more withdrawn back then, so I didn't really see much of him. I didn't know him well. To be honest, it's a bit of a shock to me to see little Jared taller than me and talking a lot: he was always small and quiet…"

Alexis (for Jaylon and Suta)

Alexis's eyes lit up with an almost vicious fire as she explained her brilliant plan.
"The moon, Jaylon!" she whispered, then turned briefly to Suta in case she was also listening. "At last I will succeed in my lifelong mission to completely destroy the horrid white round orb that hurts my little brother every month! The moon makes Simon sad, and so the moon is mean and I know that this time, I will succeed in making it disappear!" She stopped whispering as her voice grew louder and louder from excitement.

"The solution is voodoo," she explained. "I will make a voodoo replica of the moon, and then I will burn it or break it or destroy it in some other way, thus destroying the moon at the same time! And all Simon's miseries will be erased from existence, and then he will be happy, and when my time here is up, I will see him smiling as brightly as our last name!" She was staring at the ceiling while yelling her plans, but then she turned back to her two best friends and smiled. "I don't know if you have parents or other caretakers, but if you have no place to go, I will take you both home with me, and we can all be a family, and the four of us can scare the neighbors together in the darker than darkest moonless night!"

Walt Warren (for Victor)

Walt frowned and sighed in irritation as he heard a knock on the door. He hoped that at least it was some teacher with something important to say, and that the students hadn't caused trouble again.
"Come in," he said loudly.

Jared (for Clara)

Jared laughed at Clara's sarcasm, and nodded in agreement, grinning a little, when she said he was the only reason she couldn't escape. Now that was definitely true: those guards were so dumb, and the headmaster was even worse, since he didn't even know how to fight at all…

He looked at her sceptically when she started about his brother. "I really don't think Mickey would be good at his job no matter what he changed about himself…" he answered, then added: "and you know absolutely nothing about my family, so I wouldn't judge if I were you. I never cared for my family because they never cared for me. My siblings were always ignoring me, tattling on me, bossing me around, blabbing nonsense, trying to make me change… So I don't think I'm the only one who is a bad brother: so is Peter, so is Danny, and so is Michael! I don't know if you've ever had siblings, but it doesn't mean you're all friends and stuff…"

Clara was already walking away. He walked after her, but more towards the door, since if Clara wasn't going to talk to him, he didn't have much else to do except going back inside. "See you at dinner, and you better be in my class tomorrow!" he yelled after her.

Kukkī

I frowned as Michael started talking about about Peter, and seeming self-conscious of his personality. I gave him a hug, knowing he needed it.
"I don't care what your brother said," I smiled, "I just care that I know you, and you're Michael Lee, a great teacher and a great friend."
I paused, realizing two things. The first, how soppy that sounded; the second, how much taller than me he actually was. In fairness, he was near enough ten years older than me, but it still failed to strike me just how much he towered over me. I decided to use the second fact to fix the first fact.
"A great friend who seems to completely over-shadow me. Seriously, how tall are you?" I smiled, with a small laugh.

Jaylon

I smiled softly at Alexis' plan. I didn't really have the heart to tell her that destroying the moon would throw the earth out of orbit, and possibly cause the apocalypse. Instead, I went along with it.
As she mentioned family, I looked awkwardly down at my hands. I was good at controlling it now, but then... I shook my head. That was in the past. I instead smiled at Alexis.
Sounds like a plan, I scribbled happily. When do we set it into action?

Victor

I gingerly opened the door to his office.
"Um, sorry to interrupt, headmaster," I said, a tiny bit of a nervous edge to my voice. "I'm Victor Audiger, the new science teacher."
I couldn't help but be reminded when I was at school and had been sent to the headmaster on numerous occasions for things. I never imagined I'd be walking into a different headmaster's office as a teacher. He'd never considered teaching as a possible career when I was younger, but here I was. I quickly pinched the side of my leg discreetly to bring myself back to reality. The last thing I needed was to mess this up by getting lost in thought.
Sorry, everyone. I'm trying to delete this account, I don't use it and it's a bit of a waste. So bye, everyone. T-T

"attest they never tried to kill you..." she mumbled not really meaning for him to hear her. she tugged on her bag holding the back pack straps in her hands and she walked off again

I blinked. " Good Idea." I gave her a smile. I dug around in my backpack and handed her a tub of clay. " I heard something about clay in that random gibble gable of words." I yawned and began eating a pomegranate.
