Sapphire shook her head. "no, it all right. i'm sure that human didn't think Sol was more interesting, he just Recognized her and didn't expect to see her again." she said.

she smiled softly, closing her eyes. "Hmm, i love you.", she said in a bedroom purr. Baelevile smiled softly and raised his have to her lips, kissing his knuckles softly. "Goodnight my amazingly awesome Dylan...", she whispered and soon began to fall asleep..

"are you kidding?" i laughed lightly, "once he saw her our conversation just stopped, and he didnt even continue.. he was.. fixed on her.. his full attention to her.. so i just left, feeling embarrased that i even went.. plus. if it werent for me. he would be dead. dead. but he didnt seem to care" i blurted out, after it felt good to have let my emotions out,i let out a sigh, feeling … well i wasnt sure anymore

"sweet dreams…" i murmured in her ear "i love you.." i then stopped talking, wanting her to fall asleep. she was now in a way my responsibility, id protect her with my life.. even before i told her about my feelings..

Kyle grinned.
"Believe it or not, a mermaid gave it to me. I think she found these and thought she'd give it to us. I recognized her, then there was one that had apparently saved me from drowning and brought me ashore. And then there was the one we got back in the water. Remember her? I asked about our ship, and she says her mother may have had something to do with it. I know it sounds crazy, talking to mermaids and believing them. But what other choice to we have right now? Look what she gave me." He looked at them, hoping he wasn't sick with sea madness. He knew he must sound literally insane. He dropped his gaze, then looked at Dylan and Baelevile, wondering if they even heard him. "I'll start the night shift," he murmured before stepping just outside camp.

Sapphire stayed quiet, letting her get her emotions out. when she was done she looked at her sympathetically. "well if he didn't care he should have." she said.

Sam looked back at Kyle. "really?" he asked. "well that's really something. but, if the one mermaid was telling the truth, how could her mother do that?" he asked. "and how did you meet a mermaid anyway?"

Kyle paused and looked back at him, standing at the entrance of camp.
"To be honest, I don't know. I think I heard her mention something about her mother being the Queen, or whatever. These are mermaids. They could be capable of anything, like possibly wrecking ships. "

Sam thought about this before looking back at the pile of stuff. "hmm, i guess you're right. but at least we know some are willing to help us." he said.

"maybe mermaids arent that bad…" my voice trailed off. i didnt have a clue of what theses mermaids looked like, but whatever. "and sure, wake me when its my turned" i yawned and went to the hammocks, randomly picking one and closing my eyes, falling asleep
