"Deeper in the forest there are more . . . dangerous creatures like ourselves. Undiscovered, the first kinds that were created, super demons, ancients, and the gods' view is stronger there. Calling on a god for help deep in the forest might bring that god to our side. Leaving is risky, but going deeper into the forest is ten times more dangerous." Sonja says, "The odds of reaching a new safe point beyond the human town is about 50-50, and I think only few of us would die, if any of us died at all. Going deeper into the forest to find a safe point is 10 towards and 90 against, and maybe more than half of us would die trying to get there."
"Unless we called a god down to walk with us through the deeper parts of the forest." Dragon says, "I know one, he'd help."
