Amy was full of energy she had to do something, so instead of lounging in the sun as a cat she walked down the side walk opposite of the book shop, having made "U turn" she was looking about, taking in the buildings and people she, again was rather clueless to the world around as she smiled thinking of random ideas...she kinda walked into somebody as she was looking across the street at, she didn't know what, immediately she stepped back and looked up,slightly as she apologized "I'm sorry sir" she said with "my fault" type of smile, the first thing she noticed was that he ....wasn't towering over her

Skyrus immediately snapped back to reality when he felt something run into him. He whipped around and looked at the source only to find a young lady. A smile immediately spear across his features. "Oh it is quite all right my dear. I was just busy in thought when you happened upon me. I'm new to this town you see so I'm trying to get a feel for this place and it's citizens" he said moving his black hair away from his face. His greeny yellow eyes had an into duty about them that only experience could bring about. I hope my appearance doesn't scare her. Ugh and hopefully she doesn't ask about my scar, its rather annoying at this point he thought.

Amy took in the amount of words he had just said then what they meant, "okay," she said with a bright smile "I was thinking too, but judging on your words your thoughts were more sophisticated" she added in a far away type of tone then she remembered he said he was new "oh! how do you like the town so far?" she asked looking around at the busy sidewalks and then back at him

She shrunk away, squeaking words some might fight to be a bit incoherent. She sounded frightened, and scared. $#!@, @&*%, damn it! Just stay calm... focus... I thought to myself as I looked to the girl, with a really forced out smile, "A cookie book?" I tried to sound kind-hearted and loving to children - but even I wasn't fooling myself, "I don't think there is a cookie book... we have cook books with cookies in them," I said, "And fairy tal-" I cut myself off, better avoid the fairy tales, "err... picture books are good for bed," I made a correction. don't think about it... don't think about it... I inhaled calmly, but the burning of my chest was starting to become hard to bare. The boy who sat in the wagon made the correction of cooking rather than cookie, and that cleared that up, "Okay, so Cooking and Picture,"

The girl gave a light nod, soon looking to her brother. She looked back to the man, feeling like she was missing something ... "a-are you okay mister? ... it looks like you have a boo boo ..." she said sadly, noticing the forced smile and the rather tense appearance he had ... she usually did that when she got hurt with a boo boo too, so she could understand if he had a boo boo.

Mason looked back at Elizabeth as she spoke.
"...h-hurt?" He stuttered. He frowned at the thought. He was working and yet he was hurt. His lip quivered faintly. "I-I don't like when other people are hurt..." He mumbled, looking up with watery eyes.

"Sophisticated? Humm possibly. I seem to think a lot sometimes to much I believe. Anyways yes I am new I just arrived the other day. The town so far is pleasant, quite small but that isn't always a bad thing. My name is Skyrus Outlander. It's a pleasure to meet you" he said happily holding his hand out to her. He was careful to keep an eye on the time of day since he didn't want to be seen after dark.

Amy smiled, some who thought a lot and wasn't insane..it gave her a glimmer of hope she couldn't contain it so she hopped once in her own mental excitement she then smiled again "Amy Cheshire nice to meet you" she shook his hand lightly...then a question hit her "if you don't mind " she started moving her purple mess of hair out of her face "what brought you here?"

"It's a pleasure to meet you Amy." He said. At her question Skyrus instantly withdrew his hand curling his fingers up into a fist. He instantly shoved them into the pockets of his coat. "I... I... I'm not sure how I ended up here. I'm just going to assume it's my second chance." He replied nervously. His usually calm demeanor seemed to be on edge now. I don't think she is one of [i]them... I hope not. I was thinking I could escape them by coming here[/i] he thought. Even thinking that she could be one of the lions from his story Skyrus brushed his hair towards his face in an attempt to cover his scar from her.

"same" Amy said brightly, but now seeing he was on edge looked semi-discouraged, immediately connecting it to her name, the only logical explanation "if you must know Mr.Outlander, yes, I am Cheshire, the cat, I'm sorry if you're allergic" she said looking at him, connecting the two, knowing he'd either know or think she was insane, or both. she added yet another apologetic smile
