A wave of relief instantly flooded over Skyrus when he heard she was a Cheshire Cat. His features instantly seemed to return to his original demeanor. "I'm by no means allergic to felines. In a sense I am one myself." Skyrus replied. He was careful not to elaborate further on his past since he did want to forget it after all. "A Cheshire Cat huh? I've heard stories of such creatures but I've never met one myself. I prefer to meet some one before I pass judgment on them if that's what you are worried about" he commented noticing her apologetic tone. "Would you care to join me on a walk through town?" Skyrus asked.

"It's just a few scars," I tell the kids, the little boy looked like he was going to cry. I've never been good with tears... Even worse is that it's coming from the kid who... I placed a hand against my chest which started to hurt even more. "So about your books... Cook books are over here," I said, turning towards the the shelf with a variety of flavours. from Italian, to Korean, to Mexican, to more. just, stay, calm. If I can stay calm, my Glamour won't break it's shell... I thought to myself, but I was having troubles maintaining that confidence.

The girl noticed how troubled he seemed, and gently placed her hand up to his, her finger tip's just barely touching his. "are you sure your okay mister?" she asked, looking up at him with an innocent and a slightly confused look. She then quickly looked to her brother, going over and hugging him. "it's okay, 'cause big brother is the strongest, and no one can get hurt when big brother is around!" she murmured, nuzzling her cheek into his hair, since he had still been sitting in the wagon.

Amy smiled again after he was less tense "oh..well nice to meet another cat" she said brightly "but worried about what someone else thinks? not really, sure later I might be wondering but I was more concerned that you were allergic to cats" she said then she thought about the offer "sure!" she said and if it became eight she would excuse herself, politely, she though caught sight of Drystan across the street and waved with a smile then turned back to Skyrus "just as long as I'm back by eight"

Mason moved his head slightly as if he had nodded and gently wiped his eyes.
"Yeah! I-I protect Elizabeth til the end!" He said a bit shakily as he then looked at the man from before. "Th-Thanks mister..." He mumbled. "...Wh-where are the bedtime story books?" He asked, biting his lip a bit.

"Ah well let us be off shall we?" He said beginning to walk. He looked over at Amy who was waving to somebody in the book store. "A friend of yours I take it?" He commented. When she said she had plans at 8 Skyrus nodded in agreement "that works out perfectly. I have plans myself around nightfall. So parting ways before then will do fine." He replied. Skyrus moved his wrist towards his face so he could check the time on his watch. "Seems we still have awhile yet. So where shall we start?" Skyrus asked looking to Amy.

Amy nodded "I'd say that, and okay" she looked around as he checked the time then nodded,slightly, even though she barely moved her head her purple hair swayed and bounced. She started walking next to him, with a slight bounce in her step

(I actually want to make The Big Bad Wolf screw up slightly in his speech which should cause some major calamity between them. just because, it's too early for The Big Bad Wolf to get the star treatment of a heroic fable, or even a good fable)

"Well that's awfully sweet, but I'll be fine..." I tell the two kids, giving a smile... It seemed like this reunion was going to be just fine... "Bedtime stories are in children," I point to another shelf which was smaller and more kid-friendly than the tall imposing shelves of the rest of the store. this will be okay... you can make it through this without anyone getting hurt... I thought, of course you thought that before, and five kids died... this is different, this is in a public environment, and these two aren't making you mad or stressed I continued that belated thought, watching as the two kids went off for their books. I'll have to maintain this facade of kindness, I doubt they know who I am...

The girl smiled and looked to the man. "can you help us get a few fancy cookie books for momma? ... i can't reach all that well." she said softly, looking at the tall bookshelf that had the cook books, compared to the one with the children books.

"If you don't mind me asking what was your life like before you came here?" He asked. Skyrus noticed the bounce in Amy's step from the corner of his eye. I wish I could have that same since of carefree bliss. I bet it is an amazing feeling to feel as light as air and be without worry. Ha something I'll never feel and can only wish for he thought. Skyrus looked down at his shoes as he walked carefully placing every step.
