Victoria continued to spin around until the song ended. She went back to the microphone and announcedthe next song real quick before putting it on and resuming her spinning. She eventually had to stop though. She felt like she was going to puke. Victoria took a sip of water then looked at Toby, who was staring at her.

"What are you looking at, Toby?" Victoria asked him and played with his ears. The dog made a snorting noise and rubbed his face. "Silly dog," she chuckled and kissed his head lightly.

Kit
Things started to escalate in the coffee shop, but Kit did her best to ignore them. She had a job to do: take orders give coffee and whatever else her customers asked and paid for. And watch people fall over.
Well, that one was new.
Despite the fact that she knew the newcomer who had walked in and fell was probably in quite a bit of pain from the ordeal, Kit giggled to herself as she pushed away the other woman who had ordered the coffee a few minutes earlier away. The girl who had fallen got up and mumbled out an order to another barista and the vampire strolled back to the kitchen area when told that her customer's coffee was ready, got the order and bought it out out on a tray. "Your order's ready, Miss," she called to her first customer, the perk in her voice suddenly gone for a split second. After paying for the coffee, the girl went over to an empty table and sat down.
"Alright," Kit said to herself in an attempt to perk back up; she turned her attention back to the next customer and asked, "So what would you like this morning?"

"Water," he said, looking for her name-tag. It took him a few moments, but he finally spotted it. It read: Kit. He felt his eye twitch. Kit? Kit? that was her name? That could barely be considered an appetizer, much less a meal. What was he supposed to do with a name like Kit? Was that even her full name. He felt annoyance flow over him. This could be one of those "edgy" places that let their employees use nicknames.
He forced a smile on his face as he tried to think of Plan B. Her glance around at the coffee shop behind him. Surely one of the people in here would be stupidly friendly enough to give him a name. Maybe then he'd be able to get an actual meal. He had no know about the nicknames, though, to be sure. So he said, as casually as he could, gesturing at the name-tag, "Nice name. Unless it's a nickname..?"

I lean back in my chair,relaxing and enjoying the feeling of adrenaline wearing off from my fall. The sun coming up over the skyline isn't bad either,even though one glance at a cracked clock tells me I'm going to be late for work. Missy,an skinny burnette with an attitude can cover for me. It's rare getting rest between running from hunters,work,and hunting bad people in the Manhatten streets. Cleaning up if you wish,killing bad people that will do more good than harm. It's a weekly affair that leaves me tired but satisfied. I glance at a fellow reading a book a few tables down from me and look back at the window.

"Shoot!" Eevee thought in her head. She was almost late for work! She quickly ate her biscotti, grabbed her coffee, and ran out the door.

Kit
"That's it?" she asked and cocked an eyebrow. Well, if that's all he wants...'
"Okie Dokie! You order will be right out to you, sir." Peppy as always, Kit practically skipped to the kitchen once again after grabbing one of the many new styrofoam cups from the stack in the counter-mounted dispenser. She stopped short when the man complimented on her name and then asked if it was a nickname. "It's my real name," she sing-songed out and continued her journey to the kitchen.
Kit returned a few seconds later with the cup full of water. She placed it on the counter. "Here you go, sir. That'll be fifty cents, please."

Victoria sighed. "This is boring, Toby," she announced to the dog. "Maybe I should play a few songs in a row so we can go on a walk," she said, and chuckled when Toby practically hopped up at the word "walk". "Alright, I'll do that after this song," she told him.

After the song was finished she talked into the microphone again. "Alright, I'm gonna give guys some uninterrupted music for a little while. Enjoy," Victoria said then put on a collection of songs before getting up and taking Toby outside. Emilia started walking to the park.
