He looked around, figuring out his next move. Maybe he should try to get to know some of the locals?
But from what he had experienced, people who lived in big cities such as Manhattan were usually too busy to stop and talk to 'tourists' like himself. Just then, he noticed that the payphone-shady-guy had already hung up, and was now moving towards him. He almost stopped, wondering about his intentions, but as the brown-haired man causally walked beside him he continued as normal.
"U-um…" He stuttered, just realizing he had asked a question. "Yeah, sure. Go ahead" he continued in a more secure tone. He looked over him again. So this was probably just a homeless person, judging from his clothes. Well, better than nothing. And maybe he could tell him a thing or two about this place, in exchange for some coins.

Iggy
"Great," Iggy beamed, looking over the other man. He wondered why he was in the park with a suitcase. Didn't one normally get a hotel or apartment when they moved to the city? That was what people did, right? Unless they were roaming vagrants like himself. However this guy didn't look like a vagrant. He supposed, though, that looks weren't everything. Heck, even he could pass for an average citizen if he tried hard enough. Judging books by their covers was almost always a bad idea in a city like Manhattan.
He realized that now was probably a good time to talk, as he had paused for a little too long, lost in his own thoughts. Stopping in the middle of a conversation normally didn't assure one's conversational partner that they were not an insane hobo. "So," he started, edging closer to his new friend, just to see if he could get any firther into his space bubble without the other guy moving, "I'm looking for a gym. Preferably close by. Know anywhere I could go? Also, do you have a comb?"
He ran a hand through his curly mess of hair before looking slyly over at the guy with a devilish grin, "Lost my last one after using it to whack the head of a rather large Japanese sous-chef while I was flirting with his daughter. Needless to say, I was in a bit of a rush to leave after that and never got a chance to retrieve it." Honestly, considering the bruises he got from the guy, he wished he had made that story up.

He was still a little skeptical as the guy moved closer to him, but couldn’t help but to laugh at the story with the comb, even if he may have just made it up.
"So, a gym and a comb, eh?"
He had almost forgotten the smoke he had placed between two fingers on his right hand, and took a long inhale while thinking. The first thing that he had asked for, was a gym. He didn't exactly seem like type who was looking for a workout, but he probably had his reasons, and Magnus wasn't going to argue on that. He checked his memory to see what kind of places he had passed on his way here. Mostly office buildings, and a coffee shop?

"Hhhmm, nope. This is my first stay in Manhattan, so if it’s directions you’re looking for, I’m the wrong guy to ask. But, I should have a comb here somewhere-" He trailed off, finding his way to the nearest bench. He placed the cig in his mouth and started rummaging through his luggage, which included socks, headphones, an umbrella… and a knife, which he cautiously placed under some white shirts, hoping he hadn't noticed it. How could he forget about that? It wasn’t exactly normal to bring knives in your luggage, but he had always felt so weak in his human form, and needed something to defend himself with. Not that he actually knew how to use it, but it comforted him just to know it was there.
"I assume you're not familiar around here either…?” He questioned, still kind of hoping he could tell him a thing or two about this place.

Victoria chuckled at the sound he made. What kind of noise was that? Whatever. She watched Toby lick Vilkas hand as his tail wagged faster. She put her book in her bag and then spoke.
"I've had him for three years," Victoria said. "He's great company, but I have to vacuum everyday because he sheds so much. Its worth it though," she continued then noticed the young man become distracted again. She followed his gaze.
"Do you know her?" she asked him curiousky as she rubbed behind Toby's ears. The dog made a sort of purr-snire noise in delight.

(Well, here was this. But I'm not sure if this post if relevant anymore.)
Yo this account is dead and if a mod sees this I would very much like it to be deleted since I honestly hate my memories from here and don't like knowing that I am still here in a way.

I watched quietly as the name eater walked right up to the strange guy and asked for directions, like he would know anything. If its just his first stay....anyway,I looked back around at the body I had hidden again and wondered if I should move it. The shoes seemed a little obvious now and I could imagine the invesagation that would follow. Once everyone is gone I'll somehow drag him somewhere else, perhaps a desolate alleyway near the river or something of the sort v

Iggy
Iggy raised his eyebrows, peering into the other man's bag as he rummaged through it. The knife was unexpected. Just went to show him he was right about appearances. So he was either paranoid or simply not your average tourist. He glanced up at him with an interested look, but didn't ask the question... yet. He'd save it for later. At an inopportune time, hopefully.
He waved a hand at the question. "Oh no I'm totally familiar," he lied, not particularly caring if it was convincing or not, "lived here all my life. Know this city like the back of my hand." He looked the strange tourist up and down for a moment.
"So you're new in town, eh? What're you doing up here? Finally got the thirteen year old you met online to agree to a meeting?" He tucked his hands back into his pockets, causally leaning back on his heel.

((Alrighty! I'll pick up from there))

Vilkas shook his head. "I saw her earlier in a coffee shop, and I find it a little weird that she's also in the park after seeing her in the coffee shop, but no, I don't know her." He paused for a moment, staring at the stranger for a little while longer. Taking a breath, he nodded to himself. "I'm going to say hi. You can join me, if you like." Vilkas directed his gaze toward Victoria, then turned his attention back to the girl. He stood from the bench, patting the adorable dog on the head once more before beginning his trek toward her.
Once he had reached a safe distance, he casually rested most of his weight on one foot and placed his hands comfortably on his hips. "Hey," He started, eyes carefully observing her. "You were at the coffee shop." He stated, his tone blunt and the comment quite obvious. "You following me?"

I jumped when I heard the voice questioning me. I was preoccupied with watching the new guy. The one in front of me,however, seemed a little familier,if not an aquanitence.
"I,uh,no. I am not. "
I narrowed my eyes at the stranger, unhappy to be treated so bluntly. "Why would you think that?"

Vilkas stared back at her, noticing the less-than-pleased look on her face. "Usually in a city this large I don't see people more than once unless I try to do so. Since I hadn't planned on running into you again, I figured you must have been following me." He glanced over at the shoes for a second. "Sorry if I assumed incorrectly." His apology was very half-hearted, as he didn't even make the effort to look her in the eye. His eyes were occupied with the gleam of the shoes. "Those yours?" He pointed to the shoes, noticing that they weren't terribly weathered and he could probably get at least a few months of use out of them.
