Brahn was sitting in a tree, looking down at the human boy, Lukas and the dog, Sammy. His eyes narrowed suspiciously at the two before he leaned back slightly, letting the thick branches and leaves cover his masculine figure. Perhaps he found another something that he has been looking for.

[Technically my characters did not leave yet. Lukas and Sammy walked away. Just saying]

Kelly sighed as she looked down to her son. Once the others were far enough that they would not hear her talking she knelt down to her son and pulled him close to her. "Leroy. You cannot go off on your own. You cannot trust people so openly." She told him. The small boy looked at her and asked her why. Kelly sighed. "Because not all people are good. I know you think there is good in all but you need to be careful who you trust." She told him as she pulled him close as she picked him up. She caught sight of something in the trees as she turned back towards town,it was near where the man her son had introduced as Lukas and his dog were. She spun back around towards the intruder with narrowed eyes. She acted as though she had not seen his as she lifted Lejay to her shoulders and started after Lukas. "Hold up." She said as she caught him by the arm and all but about dragged the pour guy a few feet back. "I don't mean to seem rude, however when your kid is lost one tends to get more than a little paranoid." There was slight concern in her tone that no human would be able to detect. "So I would like to thank you and Sammy was it? For being the ones to find him. I'm not taking no for an answer." She stated. She knew what she was saying and doing for the most part though some part of her mind still went back to the pistol against her back beneath her coat and the silver rounds it contained. A gift from her father. She looked at Lukas with seriousness and still a bit of kindness to her. She hopped that the dog would persuade him somehow. Rather she knew them or not they had fond Lejay and she wanted to thank them none the less.

Dominique tipped his head as she spoke. He understood her perfectly though acting like a dog had become a well mastered habit while in this form. He rolled onto his side and simply watched her. She was interesting to him. Not a normal human like most in this city and not a skinwalker like the others. She was not a normal hunter either. This newer generation was something more and it interested him even if it did seem a bit dangerous to most. Though the others that he had seem did not seem to draw him in as much as this one did. Still he remained silent in his dog form though his tail did thud from time to time against the ground.

Gibbs had just finished unloading the U-HAUL truck and getting everything in place with the help of a young man he had known for quite a while. They finished setting everything into place and putting the house together before heading down to his daughter's house. He had not told her yet that he had retired from his government agency position or that he had moved to the town. Both he and Tony waited outside on her porch for more than an hour. Gibbs had called the hospital and fond that she had left early because her son was missing. He looked to Tony with a seriousness to his blue gaze. The young man needed no words to know what he should do. He went around the back of the house where a high privacy fence hid the yard from anyone's view. When he came back around the tallish man with hazel eyes was gone. In his place stood a long coated German Shepherd. The dog looked at Gibbs before sniffing at the air and starting down the road until it ct off to a trail. Still he followed the sent with Gibbs in toe.

Lukas studied his face, his dark skin a great contrast to her own. "I can't say I understand how it feels to have my child go missing. I am very sorry, but I am also happy that Sammy found him and no crazy man out there." His voice rumbled deep in his chest. Sammy barked at his side and wagged her tail so hard that her rump shook from side to side. Sniffing at the woman in front of her, she sneezed and whined before grinning a dog grin. Listening intently, she smelled someone on the breeze. Not a human but not animal. Not a mix. A human smell with something more. Ignoring the smell, knowing she hadn't shifted into her human form for years, she definitely knew she only smelled like wet dog and the forest from all the walks.
