Meridian watched as she saw Isabella use her magic to take out the bullet and tend to the wound. She hoped that Jake was going to be okay, for she did not like seeing anyone innocent getting hurt in front of her. The girl then took in a deep breath before stepping towards the front door, ready to chase away whomever was hurting the ones she knew. Meridian then opened the front door and walked outside before closing the door quietly behind her. Her eyes had narrowed slightly from the small amount of anger that she felt, though she tried to not let her emotions take her over. Meridian then walked a few feet in front of her before stopping, clenching her fists slightly. 'Should I be doing this? What good will this do if I end up getting myself killed?' She asked herself in her head before mentally shaking the thoughts away. And with a soft 'humph', she took a small step forward. "Hey, jerk. Why don't you take your pathetic weapon and do away with it, huh? That would do us both a favor; so that my acquaintances wouldn't get hurt, and neither will you. Make the smart decision here." She said rather loudly, above her average tone of voice. This was different for her... She had suddenly raised her voice in a matter of seconds when her friends were in danger... Did she really seem to care? Maybe, deep down she actually did. She then slowly crossed her arms under her chest and narrowed her eyes even more, her cold gaze almost threatening and painful to look at.

Meridian had found herself walking along the path of fallen leaves that seemed to line the forest floor... Her footsteps grew heavy, for Hades knew how long she was walking... dirt slightly kicked up from behind her, leaving a trail of dust from where her figure had moved. She was normally quiet, all too quiet to ever make a single sound... but, why was she suddenly dragging her feet? Why did she seem to not bother looking back? What else was she hiding under that emotionless complexion? The girl felt a gentle sigh being drawn from between her parted lips as she kept walking forward. Every once in a while she would look up, her eyes slowly scanning the area before she quietly moved onward. As she kept walking, the girl only found herself pressing deeper and deeper into the forest. She couldn't turn back now... she already had traveled too far... Meridian lifted her head slightly, looking around once again just as she had done for the past few hours, before suddenly locking her icy blue gaze upon what seemed to be... a... a... house. A house, in the middle of the forest? What was that doing there? What was its purpose? The young Demon had allowed her curiosity to bring her towards the lonely house-like building that was mysteriously left in the forest. She slowly made her way towards it, her expression unchanging though her eyes swam deeply in curiosity. She then gently breathed in the air, multiple scents stinging the air... Were there humans that lived in this house? Were there other beings such as herself that lived here? She couldn't wait much longer, for the scents had definitely caught her attention. As she had eventually made her way towards the front door, she paused before slowly lifting an arm, her knuckles tapping gently on the door that she stood in front of... Hopefully, there would be someone there...

I followed after her, and stopped right before bumping into her. "Who're you?"
