Rikki raised her chin, meeting Ash's gaze almost in a challenging way, inwardly daring the boy to say something rude about her dog's multitude of scars and mutilations. Most people did, usually.
"He is mine," she confirmed. "And yes, he's wonderful." She raised a single brow, eyeing the bird oddly, seemingly annoyed by its presence as well. A bird? What was the point of keeping a bird? All birds do is make noise.
"I'm not troubled," Rikki grumbled in response to his last question. "It would do you good not to go around asking about internal things like such."
