(Well that's good to know because I was going to link to his video)

Steven and Sveimun focused on playing their best, they lost themselves to the music and forgot that Jodie was even there until they stopped playing. They waited for her opinion but she was lost to her thoughts and by the time she had snapped back to reality they had already congratulated each other for another song beautifully preformed. "I knew we had talent but do you really think that we are that good?" Steven questioned as he suddenly became unsure.

- Well that was convenient

[size=85]i unfolded my arms, "Do I look unsure?" I asked with a small laugh, "Trust me, I know what I'm talking about yawn it comes to music. I have a reliable background." I added assuringly. I stood up, folding my arms again out of habit, "So what do you think, are you going to try?"

Steven smiled slightly, "your right, I'm being stupid, we are good and I do want to try my hand at this competition" he said happily, "trying and failing is better then not trying at all"

[size=85]"You're anything but stupid, it's natural to be unsure with performing, I know. I said. The. I began to think for a moment, "I know the sign ups are until Tuesday, but only fifty entries are allowed, so I'll see if Ivan get you two in for sure. The competition is next Saturday, so you should keep practicing until then." I sad fumbling with my fingers in front of me. I could never stop moving my hands as I spoke, could i?

Steven
"We won't stop practicing till the day of the competition" he said as his eyes shone with determination, "thank you for your help Jodie"

Sveimun nodded his head in agreement with Steven, "yes thank you".

[size=85]I nodded ad picked up my duffle bag from beside the chair, "Anytime, guys. I got to run to gym. Thanks letting me hear you play." I said with a smile over my shoulder before I left the room, closing the door behind me, and continuing down the hall towards the gym. I dropped my bag off in the locker room and for the extra five minutes I helped the PE teacher raise the hoops of the baskets. Then I had another ten minutes left, So I decided to run to the Audio room, which was right next to the Music room, separated by a short hallways. It was used for recording music without any white noise, so I borrowed it for recording my own music. There was a piano placed up room center, and laptop underneath it. It was my own. Then I took a video/audio camera and flicked it on in it's place. I still had time to record once, and see how that went. After I adjusted the audio input I sat down and took a deep breath. The camera was concentrated on the sound of the piano and the video would only show my fingers across the keyboard. I didn't have notes in front of me, no instruction how to play the song I made, I just learned by muscle memory. After brief moment on figuring out where the song would start, I began to play, and after that the pressing of keys was auto magic as I let the music roll out. Out of another habit I would start singing the lyrics in my head, in accordance to the song. A little over three minutes past by so quickly, and before I knew it I was done. I flicked off the recording and connected the camera to my laptop and saved the video there. Then I began to edit it. It was so difficult to tunnel down my focusing point because of my ADHD, but I managed to work quickly. I could finish the editing later, but I had to make sure the sound quality was clear, or else I would have to do it again.

- The song she played on the Piano was a cover of the song 'Still Alive' a good reference would be by Mark Fowler, I'll explain the reason why she's playing that song and recording it in a post or two

(That's a good song)

Steven
"No problem Jodie, we'll see you later" he said as she left then asked Sveimun "what shall we play now?"

Sveimun
"Lets just go down the list starting with number 3" he suggested and when he saw Steven nod in agreement he said "Thinking out Loud it is" then they started to play again.

- I love it, so is Thinking out Loud >.<

after a few more minutes flew by, the bell rang and i was meant to be in gym. i shut my laptop and slid it underneath the piano, and packed away the recorder. I got about half the song done at the moment. Though listening to myself playing it wasn't as amazing as playing it myself, it was great to be around a piano again, helping my friend with commons. This time I was making a cover of a song for a video game. Since it was my friend who commissioned, and I loved writing covers by ear, I didn't make them pay me anything but extra time to work on it. I left he audio room and started down the hall towards gym, thinking about mixture of different things: My desalination project, and Steven and Svie's duet were the two main thoughts in my head. I would have to drop by the chemistry lab at the end of school to check on my experiment, and then go by the office and see if I could hold the boys a spot on the list.

Steven stopped when they heard the bell and packed away their violins. They picked up their bags, headed to the door of the class room and left to head to their next class which was their art class.

(I love Thinking out Loud too)

- I think Ed Sheeran is good with a guitar. Way better than me, anyways

As I rushed down the hall I evaded everyone to the gym door, and the teacher stopped me there, "There you are, the office called for you, Jodie." He said. I looked past him at all the students in the gym, most were already dressed and ready to go. "Did they tell you why? Or to tell me why?" I asked curiously. "Oh come on, Jodie, they never tell you why you are being sent to the office, it's none of our concern." He said. I sighed and head down there anyway. when I did get there, it wasn't much of a deal, they just confirmed that i'd be walking home today. I took the chance to talk to them about the entry, and managed to the media administrator to give me a slip for the competition. All Steven and Svei had to do was sign it and they would be officially placed. I was glad that I was one of the early ones to ask, though it it did take some convincing to prove that the two were worth the trouble of registration. My also gave me an office pass, to excuse myself when I got back to gym, so I decided to head down to the lab and check on my experiment, because I hadn't been able to do it earlier this morning. When I approached the tubes, I was amazed: The string in the jar was covered in alt crystals, and the water in the jar almost tasted completely free of salt. I screamed the word 'yes!' in my head, proud and achieved. the solution I soaked the string in worked! It removed the salt for the water! Imagine how many people with no access to fresh water this would help. It was daintily worth the seven months.
