Excactly." I turn thump my he'd o the held uselessly, "No one does." I finished with a mutter to myself. It wasn't exactly the most attractive conversation, and I really didnt like the awkward silence that fell on the library. "Well, I have meeting with some very old books ad if you want you can come with me? I'm sure that it has something of historic leaders." I suggested, raising my key slightly.

Steven nodded his head slightly "ok I'll come, lead the way" he said and took a step away from the shelf he had been looking at.

I grinned and side stepped to pass him, not looking back as I headed for the far wall, "Alright, come along." I sighed as I stepped around the corner and walked down against the wall, reaching a red door that contrasted against the regal tan painted wall around it. Some of the paint, however was chipping off, revealing in the raggedy oak-wood door behind it. Before I placed the key in the hole of the lock, and I twisted around to see if Steven was following me up to pace.

Steven followed her silently and stood a little ways off when she stopped at the door.

I turned back to the door, and placed the key in the loo, turning it until I heard a soft click ad took it out. Grasping tha black handle, I gave a pull, and the door creaked open and smell of musty only paper washed over me. The room was about only half the size of the library, but each book was ripped, collecting dust, leather back, torn, or contained yellow pages. "Alright, well, here we are!" I breathed, stepping forward while studying the placed oohs. Gazing up, I spotted what I needed, but it was on the fourth shelf and I couldn't reach it. It felt a bit foolish to start climbing the actual ledges, and there was no ladder around. I reached up on the tips on my toes, about a hand's length away from reaching the large book I needed.

Steven walked into the room and looked around. He saw her trying to reach a book, he walked over and reached up to get the book down for her.

I watched Steven reach up and grab the maroon book and pull it off the shelf, and took it from him after moment, "Thanks, I guess I'm not as tall I thought I was." I shrugged with a grin. Then I crouched and tapped my fingers along the spines of the books, searching for more useful topics. "I think you'll find some biographies in the farthest shelf to your right." I said to Steven, not taking my eyes off the books as I pulled one out of its place. I've been here before, just for different things each time.

Steven nodded his head to show that he understood. "Thank you" said and started off in the direction she had indicated.

I stopped looking for the last book I would need for the time being to lift my head and look at him walk down to the far shelf, and continued, "You don't talk very much, do you? It's all work, work, work." I said, standing up with the five books in hand and setting them down on an old wooden table on the opposite side of the room and sat down in the hard-wood chair, opening up the first book.

Steven looked for the books he needed then replied "I only talk if there is something to talk about." He paused as he looked at a book then continued "As for the work part, I work so hard so that I can get good grades pass my courses and make my parents proud of me for once." He took a sharp breath as he realised what he just said, he hadn't meant to say that about his parents.
