Katie watched Jay as he felt the clothes, determining whether or not they would fit him. They both know that whatever she had found would have to do, so she was pleased when he seemed to accept them. Turning her attention towards Matthew as he returned a tired smile and answered her, she smiled a bit more and nodded. "Well, that's good to hear," she said, before hearing Jay's voice. Naturally, she turned her sapphire blue gaze towards the blind boy, nodding yet again and keeping her eyes glued on his form. "Yes, Jay, I'm positive. I'll be fine. I've been through worse, anyways," she said. Watching him with observant eyes, the brunette saw that he was dizzy just from standing up. Thank god she had an arm around him to help steady him. "Sure, of course," she said with a miniscule giggle, glad that Jay had been able to manage a half-hearted laugh.
-timeskip to meeting-
Even though he had a pair of crutches now, Katie kept one of her hands placed on his back, just in case. She knew that he was more than capable of walking on his own even though he was injured, but it didn't hurt for her to keep a hand placed on his back. Stopping, she listened to Ashton speak, and her face paled ever so slightly upon hearing that they would have to move to the city. It immediately concerned her, since they would have to be around humans twenty four seven. Although, Jay's reaction was more severe than hers. The brunette knew that he probably wasn't able to handle the city, and that there was a higher chance of him being bullied. But she swore that if she heard anyone throw the smallest insult his way, she would beat them to a bloody pulp. "Hey, Jay, it'll be fine..." she said quietly, moving in front of Jay in order to look at him properly. "I know that you hate the city, but you will be perfectly fine. I'll be there with you, Matthew will be there with you... the entire pack will be there with you. I know for a fact that I won't let anything happen to you, so there's nothing to worry about," she said softly and paused before continuing to speak. "We'll all be there for you, Jay," she said and offered him a reassuring smile, even though she knew he wouldn't be able to see it.
(( Sorry if Katie's post was all over the place or made no sense or something... XD *shot* ))
Charlotte let a small groan escape her lips as soon as Zoey asked her why she didn't get much sleep. Shaking her head slightly, her light brown hair swooshed around slightly with each small movement. "I just... couldn't sleep, I guess," she said. Turning her attention towards TigerLily, she couldn't deny the fact that she was quickly getting annoyed with the older girl. Giving a full-on, deep frown (which was VERY out of character for her) she sighed. "Yeah, yeah. I know that," she said. Of course she knew that. No matter what she did, she almost always had a hard time sleeping. Her mind never shut down, and she was often unable to sleep due to the fact that she had bad dreams almost every time she closed her eyes and tried to succumb to the temporary darkness of sleep. Turning back around, she decided she wasn't awake enough to continue speaking to them, since she was pretty irritable right now. "I'm going back inside," she said quietly and walked back inside the cabin, letting the door shut behind her. Making her way over to her bed, she laid down and stared up at the ceiling.
