She never fully appreciated the feeling of running while she was in her wolf form. It was as though she was flying over the land - her paws barely touched the earth as she and her invisible wings took off into the air. The air was exhilarating as it rushed in and out of her lungs. Her heart was pounding; whether out of joy, adrenaline, or excitement, she could not tell. She barked over her shoulder at Cooper, her bright azure eyes twinkling on her refined wolf face. She stretched out her legs farther, seeking to gain ground. Even so, he was overtaking her. They burst from the foliage at high speeds. Her pelt shimmered like frost or ice and his blazing red fur caught on fire in the sunlight. Calli was laughing in her wolf form, an odd thing to do because it wasn’t quite a laugh. It sounded more like a series of whimpering barks were falling from her tongue. Pure ecstasy trapped her in the moment.
She heard Cooper distinctly. Lately they had been communicating telepathically. It seemed easier to do, plus it was more intimate than blurting everything out. “Catch me if you can!” She called back. She knew he easily could. His thundering footsteps told her that he was right behind her. She could see the river flowing into the lake: their final destination. Calli pressed herself to go faster, but she was already winded. Cooper passed her like a ball of wolf fire. Suddenly, Cooper skidded to a halt. Calli attempted to slow down, but she ended up stumbling into him into the cool water. As she rose, soaking wet, Cooper’s face told her everything. “What is… it?” Her eyes found them. Ashton and Jordy were in the lake as well.
It was one of those moments that hung in the air for an eternity. Calli’s eyes found Ashton’s. Hers held no emotion. They did not seek for his forgiveness or his approval. They were a solid wall of blue, blocking him out. She held back her emotions, trapping them inside so he wouldn’t know how she felt. Cooper was disappearing into the tree line, and Calli, deciding that she had seen enough, followed him.

Maybe it was the impact of the cold water that took the joy out of her. It most likely was the sight of Ashton and Jordy together though. Calli never felt so far away from her brother in her life. She didn’t realize that Ashton was not replacing her, she was just replacing him. Callista finally caught up with Cooper at a trot, and then when she was in sight of him, she shifted.
“That,” She started to say, and then her face fell. She new Cooper probably knew how she felt, although it helped a little, she still felt dreadful.

"Blake?" Euan was relieved to see a familiar face in the crowd. Blake and Euan had toured colleges together and, after submitting their applications, they were both admitted into the same one. Hitching his backpack higher up on his shoulder, Euan approached his friend with a smile on his face. "How's it going?" He asked, grabbing his friend's shoulder softly and wheeling him around. He didn't really wait for an answer though, Euan just charged on by saying, "I didn't know you were coming to summer camp. That's fantastic!"
Euan was a very friendly guy. He got along with just about anyone, especially if they shared his common interests (aka outdoors, sports, eating, other boy-stuff). But he tried to avoid awkward situations as much as possible, so seeing a familiar face instantly put him at ease. Not many people understood his direct, friendly manner. They just though he was weird. Which he was, in a good way.

Summer was Cade’s favorite time of year. In the summertime he didn’t have to get up and go to school and he didn’t have to sit in class room or the detention room; he didn’t have to drift pointlessly in the hallways, trying to chat up the same old faces. In the summertime, Cade was free. And he liked it that way. He got up late and stretched out his lean wolf body, his pink tongue rolling out of his narrow muzzle like a banner. With a long groan and a quick shake of his pelt, he strolled forward, searching the forest for prey. The sound of buses echoed in his ear drum and he rushed forward to catch a glimpse of them. Out of these vehicles spilled teenager and young adults, chatting, laughing, and dreaming. Some looked unsure; others knew exactly what they were doing. Cade took this moment to shift into his human form. It was a large crowd, but the individuals never strayed. It was like a herd of deer, only hunting was hard because there were no wanderers. Sighing, the young man sat down at a picnic table to survey the newcomers.

She sat on the bank, watching the water, while Kian sat on the rock(?). She leaned back, laying on the bank, closing her eyes, and taking in a soft breath. Things might not be so bad here after all..

Flopping out, her arms sprawled on her bunk, Cheyenne looked down and out of the window closest to her bunk. A brunet with a pretty spray of freckles across her nose leaned against the cabin next to hers, noticing how lonely and sad she looked- Cheyenne jumped off of her bed and decided to reach out- because she too used to be that girl. Emerging from the cabin, Cheyenne skipped her way around the cabin's edge and stopped in front of Lillian, a soft smile on her rosy cheeked face and pale pink lips. "Hi! I'm Chey! What are you doing out here all alone? Arent you excited to be here!?" she asked, grabbing the girl's bag with one hand, throwing it over her shoulder and grabbing the girls hand directly after. Cheyenne was invasive to say the least, friendly and charming- this girl knew how to start a conversation and be involved in just about everything. "Come on, you can have the bunk next to mine!" she laughed, pulling Lillian with her towards the cabin doors.

Lillianna couldn't get a word in with this girl before she was whisked away. She couldn't tell if this girl was psycho or just one of those preppy people that feels the need to be nice to everyone. Well, that was fine. Soon this Chey would know who Lillianna really was, because it's not as if she hid her unusual habits and whatnot, and then they would soon part. She was yanked into the cabin doors, nearly tripping several times. Lillianna coughs, and tries to smile politely. It appears on her face like a grimace. "Er, thank you." She coughs again, adjusting her beanie after several longs strands of curvy dark brown had spilled from it. She wasn't used to being caught off guard, so this was really a terrible first impression she was making. Completely awkward. Then again, Lillianna was usually awkward socializing anyway.

Alyssia heard the girls excuse, she wondered why they were both so jumpy. Alyssia's curiosity was starting to come out. She walked waved by but she doubted the girl even saw. She sighed a little and walked with Liam. She was still worried. Alyssia shrugged a little, "Im not sure, theres a lot to do." Alyssia said shrugging. She tucked a little bit of her wavy hair behind her ear. She couldn't get the thoughts out of her mind. Were they really only friends? The way he acted around her, the way he looked at her. Alyssia pushed the thoughts away. If there was anything going on, Liam would have told her. She hoped. Alyssia finally pulled herself out of her deep thought. "But the water does seem nice. Especially with you." She said cheesily. She smiled sarcastically after she said it. Alyssia sighed again looking out at the water.

Anna looked around to where she was "oh fudge cats....whatever..." she shifted back into human walking around the camp "I don't even know where I am" she groaned before sitting on a large rock, she laid down and frowned "washing a turtle anna? Really?!" She groaned and put her fist over her heart "why does it hurt so much...ugh" she groaned covering her face with her arm "when did he get a girlfriend?! And she saw us like that! Ugh she must hate me now..." she bit her lip a strange taste of iron and blood? Did she just make herself bleed? "I shouldn't be feeling like this...he's my best friend, and that's all we'll ever...be..." she just laid there covering her eyes.

I was happy to see Cooper when i did reacting in excitement and confusion as he acted like a pet dog. I smiled at Calli slightly but saw she was upset with Cooper so i stepped back and let them leave .I knew Calli did not like me much just for the fact i was a human who knew there secret but i tried to push past that. After they left i sighed and began to walk to my cabin so that i could unpack some of my things onto my bunk.

Lugging my suitcase that held mostly bed things to the top bunk i rummaged through to pull out a sheet a pillow and a blanket.I looked out the window that i had made sure i had received that looked to the forested area which made em feel safer if not contempt with the fact i was so close to leaving need it be.After i made my bed i took out a few home things and put them around my area. A dream catcher hung onto the window pane and a stuffed wolf sat on my pillow against the head-board.I pulled my suitcase down putting it away before walking from the cabin to go to see what the others were up to.

I did have bright colors on other then black... but what part of curled up in a ball projected such a friendly vibe? he wondered. After take a breath, Alice calmed herself down and put her book by her side. "I'm Alice." she followed her 'hey,' with... unsure of how to really talk to someone. Alice shook her head, realizing the boy behind the first one had made a comment about her book, so stupidly- she opened her mouth before either of them could acknowledge her name and tell her theirs. "Yeah- i like wolves... they're my thing..." Mentally slapping herself in the face, Alice just smiled and pretended that all made sense... it did to her she supposed.

Lowering the girl slowly letting her slide down his frame, Ashton braced her as Jordy's feet touch down to the lake floor, Ashton stood in front of her, hands firm on her upper arms as he looked down at her with worried blue eyes. Ashton practically towered the small blonde girl, being nearly 6'2, the water had been lapping gently just above his knees. "Jordy, i wont let them hurt you... In fact i probably wont let them near you... they have their lake on the summit and we have our lake down here... we can have a good summer- Just you and me and the pack-" he tried to sooth her, but it was practically useless considering he didn't know a wolf around that enjoyed summer. The only time they could be free was at night... otherwise they were stuck as humans during the day, hiding from humans in fear they would attack. Or worse.. the pack would fight back... Then the secret would be out. Kissing Jordy's forehead softly, Ashton brushed a few fallen strands from her soft cheeks and cupped her face with is large, warm hands. Ashton knew Jordy liked the cutesy- soft side of him more so he rubbed noses with her once more and kissed the tip of her nose.

Just as Ashton was about to pull her small, angelic face in for a kiss, Ashton heard fierce steps thundering towards them and without seeing what was about to hit, the Alpha grabbed Jordy once more and pulled her close and moved so he was in front of the unknown attackers. Water sprayed the two, and rather then getting mad- the clueless Ashton laughed and splashed Cali and Cooper back- Assuming they hadn't left wolf form all day... meaning he hadn't known they shifted. Cali was at the meeting earlier... she did shift... how dare she... he remembered, his eyes setting on her pelt. Trying to push it out of his mind, Ashton Exhaled and waited to see what his sister would do now.... he didn't know what her deal was lately... she had been so... c o l d.

As Cooper's pace slowed, his eyes moved to watch as Calli passed him and shifted. He could see worry smothered on the girls face and more so- hurt. With a soft sigh, the large russet wolf shifted mid-stride and with a few more steps, his arms were around her. "Ridiculous- Rude- Disgusting- Awkward or E, all of the above?" Cooper joked, hoping it would brighten the fae's spirits, even if it was only a little. "Calli you know he is just being a male...Jordy appeals to him in a different way than you do... you are his sister, you are forever in his heart... Jordy is just in a different part of his heart... thank goodness for that as well... " he laughed, his head shaking slightly in a shutter. Cooper was particularly good at trying to make light of things, but lately he had been off his game. The thing about werewolves... they spent most of their time in their wolf form- during the winter... intimacy was shown in privacy of dens... but when they were human and it was all out in the open, it must be hard for things to be so much more apparent. Like Ashton spending his time more with Jordy... because humans typically did not conform to pack like structure. Cooper squeezed Calli briefly before allowing his fingers to trace the lines of her arm, waiting for her to respond and see if he had helped at all. His words were true... but he wasn't sure if she was still mad at him for breaking the rules earlier or not.

It was perfect and just how she had left it on the inside.

The cabins may have looked old and gross on the outside, but Allison was a diva and everyone on the inside was not only new and clean- it was very prissy. Closing the door behind her, Allison ran to the kitchen counter and grasped on to the one thing she hadn't had in almost a year. Her phone. Hugging it to her chest, the girl flung the kitchen drawer open to get to the charger and frantically moved to plug it in. While she waited. Ali hopped in the shower and tried her hardest to get clean.

"Yeah, I was just trying to gain some leadership hours for college... so technically im working, but i'v been great... excited to start at Pepperdine, that's for sure! How have you been?"Blake asked, looking down at the clip board noticing Euan wasn't on it. "Are you here, like for camp? Or are you a councilor too?" Blake laughed lightly. Catching his sister out of the corner of his eye, walking off with some sad and not too thrilled girl, Blake grit his teeth briefly.

As everyone began to leave the fire pit, Katie ended up getting bored within a split second. That was completely typical for her - she was able to lose interest in something within a split second, or if she didn't have anything to do, she would get bored in record time, just like now. Spotting someone she hadn't recalled meeting before, the brunette tilted her head slightly as she watched him begin to make his way to the outskirts of the woods. Her natural sense of curiosity took over her, and she started to follow this unfamiliar person through the woods as silently as she possibly could. Which considering the fact that she was the lead huntress, she was nearly unable to be heard.

Katie crept along after him, and winced slightly when she stepped on a small twig, hearing it snap like it often did in the movies. Way to go, Katie. So much for being silent. Shrugging slightly, she just kept on going, making sure to hop behind trees every once in a while so that if he did look in her direction, he wouldn't see her. Even though she knew that he was a part of the pack, she tended to try to be cautious around new people that she didn't recognize. Finally, she made her way to a tree and effortlessly climbed it, then gazed down at Matthew, a curious look plastered on her face. Debating on whether or not she should speak, she figured that he had probably already heard her, so she figured why the hell not? "Hello. Have I met you before?" the brunette asked, suddenly hanging upside down from one of the branches in front of Matthew and smiling kindly at him. Her long, curly and slightly wavy hair hung down freely, and her hair blew around slightly in the gentle summer breeze going through at the moment.
