"Ok..." Lydia nodded right as her parents walked back into the room her father looking the stressed out worry-wort he was and mother still as chipper as before. "Ah Lye you didn't run into them today did you?" her father asked as he sat down. "No father I have not." she smiled warily at him before sitting down, "Oh and this is Spenecly."

I said "If I may ask sir who are They?"

Lydia and her mother sat down quietly while her father grunted and started to serve himself, "Wolves son, wolves. They are the enemy of man."

I said "Oh the wolves... Yeah they're scary..." I looked down. I pulled down my sleeves.

The girls stayed silent as they ate while Lydia's father responded with another grunt, "Glad you understand." taking a bite of her food Lydia looked up at her mother with a half smile, "This is good mom, thank you." the last time she said something about the wolves in front of her father things didn't turn out well and the dinner ended up ruined.

"Not at all one needs to know there is trouble out there if I had known sooner Lye wouldn't-" "Ah would you like me to clean up your plate for you father?" Lydia interrupted.

Lydia smiled gratefully at Spenecly as her father nodded before scooting out of his chair, "I'll leave it to you then." after he left her mother got up and winked, "I have some shopping to do you know the drill Lye."
