Derrick just wanted to move on from his past life since he knew he wouldn't go back, he wanted to make the most of this. "Keep moving forward is the only way to go"

Dallas giggled and grabbed his hand "We are taking my car! Okay?" she smirked getting in the car and starting it

"You don't have too." He laughed opening the kitchen drawer. "Normal people and you can just use these.. But I can't. .. N n not that your not normal, or that normal is a bad thing." Worried he might have accidentally offended her. "I mostly wanted to know for table setting purposes. Do you have any allergies that I maybe should know about, food or .. Other?" He was blushing and avoiding eye contact again.

"Thats a very positive attitude, I like it." She smiled sweetly up at him. "I've been looking forward to this marrage and had high hopes for our future together. You are more than I expected I could dream for already." Kissing his cheek then resting her head back on his shoulder. "When tour ready to go back down stairs? Your gonna hafta help me back off this bed." Flushing slightly at the revelation and feeling rather like a beached whale.

"Nah I don't have any allergies." she said with a sympathetic smile. "And it's fine, I'm not easily offended."

"Right, ok, then .. Hopefully I can take all the pre-made meals I have, well most of them.. We don't have that much room in the freezer." He thought about the batter and stews he had along with home made tomato sauce. "I like to cook and bake, sometimes I get carried away with it."

"That's good because I have no idea how to cook." she said with an awkward laugh as she rubbed the back of her neck.

Keirran sighed. "Fine, we'll take yours" he said smiling as he teased her. He slid into her car.

Derrick calmly helped her up and then asked if she would like help down the stairs.

"You could still help if you wanted then maybe I won't make too much of everything." Glad there was something useful he was bringing to thier marriage.

Mary Broom
"If you could stay beside me that would be great, I can't exactly see my feet on the stairs and I'm a little afraid of falling." Placing an arm around his waist as they made their way back down to main floor. "Do you want me to start making something for supper?" She asked rubbing her belly since the baby had started kicking and moving around as soon as she had gotten back off the bed.

Dallas smiled and drove to the doctor's office once there she parked her car and walked in she was smiling , then her name was called and she walked into the room ready for the ultrasound "Are you ready Keirran?"

"No" he whispered but Keirran stood anyways.

Derrick helped her down. "If you're up for it" he shrugged.
