"No... I'm sorry, I justー" She tightened the grip on the edge of her shirt, searching for the correct words. She stared down at her feet, shivering, "I just wish I could do something on my own without messing up. I tried to find Alexis, but I lost the trail here. It's like... It's like she just flew off the face of the earth, or got into a car, or something... I don't know..." She trailed off, slightly looking back up at Ratchet.

Ratchet sighed "At least your talking to me" he muttered. He closed his eyes to try calm his mind. "Yeah the trail ends here. That's weird." He gave her a small smile "You did your best that's all you can do."

Willow gave Ratchet a broken smile, rubbing her hands together. "I'm not mad at you." She lightly sighed, standing up off the curb, "I was just angry. In general. I had so many mixed emotions from everything that happened today. I went from happy to scared to sadーyou get what I mean... And I guess I just kinda snapped. On you, and Dominic. So... I'm sorry." She sheepishly smiled, her eyebrows slightly arcing in embarrassment. She stuck out her hand for him to shake, "Friends?" She slightly shrugged, looking up at him.

I waited until she shifted to coyote, then I let out an ear-splitting howl of pain. The man came in quickly, not noticing Vanessa slip out behind him.

Ratchet grinned and shook her hand "Of course." His face and hands were getting pinker from the cold and it could only get worse. "I'm sorry to but I need to find Alexis to apologize as well."

Alexis howled again, as loud as possible. The man sighed and took her through the reception; thankfully not noticing Vanessa, and into a small medical room. Alexis panicked, howling for real this time.
