She blinked and looked at him. "love?", she asked. The word seemed to spark something in her memories, but the memory was too distant to completely recall. All she remembered was that she did love someone long ago, but she didn't know what love was. Grim tilted her head slightly, looking up at him. "How do you know?", she asked, curious at how he knew what she was feeling even when she herself did not.

Xa'limir

I've loved before.... I used to have family. They were murdered, and I seek revenge. I know what love is, because I have fallen in love.

She blinked and looked at him. "Oh.", she managed to say. But, how could she be in love? Grim rubbed her horn, deep in thought. "Why? Why does this 'love' happen?"

Xa'limir

Well... It comes in unexpected places. It can come from someone you protect, or who protects you. It can come from someone you've fought along side, someone you've known for years. Or it could be a stranger you saw and can't stop thinking about. He says, tail tip flicking.

"Oh.", she said again and now sat on the ground, peering up at him. She smiled softly, thinking. "So I am in love?", she asked, looking up at him. She laid one hand over her heart, a strange feeling rising in her chest. "But what if he doesn't love me back?", she asked, suddenly worried.

Who is it that you love, Grimm? He asks, tilting his head slightly to the left.

She had no hesitation, needed not to think whether or not to tell him. When asked a question, it was her nature to reply quickly, the whole truth. "Dovev.", she said quietly, looking up at him. She was nearly sure that he didn't love her back... but, maybe?

Dovev is capable of love, but his heart is darkened by evil. It is an interesting choice of love to make, but not one I will argue with.

She looked up at him. "Dovev told the princess he loves somebody. And I believe him, but I am trying to figure out who.", she said simply. What if he loves another and she loves him? Is her love for him real or...? Yesh, this was confusing....

He loves someone; I know who. It is not my place to tell you, but I will tell you this: it is the person you least expect.
