⊰Grace took her time getting to class. She rifled through her head to try to remember what class she had, trying to figure out her schedule. Was it Calculus? No...Lit? Then she remembered that she had that one lower classmen class she had to make up from years before. She walked toward her Humanities class, slipping into the class silently, glancing around to see no teacher. A small sigh of relief, barely audible, before she settled in a seat in the back. A few hours of school and she'd be able to leave. Grace didn't even expect that she'd have to pay attention. Her head wandered. She felt the air around her; ever particle of it. It vibrated with breath and voices; whispered to her in ways no one else would here. She was aware of everyone; she could feel the air on their skin, and it annoyed her. She longed to be alone in a great big room, to sit in the silence for just a few minutes. Or even more, to be in space, for in space you can't breath. ⊱

I don't know what Hikyro would be called. senior is for 4th year, but he's like 300th+ year in university... soo.... anyways. yes Kayden can be in university. it would depend on when his birthday is

so, the humans drugged him... I thought, handing over the chocolate. He was really adorable, like a kitty cat. "Would you mind telling me your name? You can call me Daina," I gave him a sweet smile. There was a sudden noise outside. And from the backdoor to the cart, another man entered the cart. He saw her handing the chocolate to the boy and growled lowly like a cat. I smiled, "Jeez, and here I thought this place was secluded from people," I grinned to the newcomer.

The boy was swift as his movements were hidden by the shadows, making his appearance a bit more difficult to be known. He soon jumped quickly into a nearby tree and jumped onto the roof of one of the moving train carts, looking down toward the window. moving his tail out of his pant leg he used it much like a lemur and hung from it as he carefully lowered his body to look into the opposite window of the two. As he looked over to the young boy and the girl, he noticed that it seemed the boy was the one who felt uncomfortable. He also seemed to be eating some sort of candy, and by the smell of it it was chocolate. He started to take this the wrong way, thinking that the girl was trying to convince the young boy to do something he shouldn't, and this made him growl lowly like most cats would if upset. He felt like he wanted to just tackle the girl and demand an answer as to what was going on, but for now he simply watched, not wanting to be too irrational. From how he hung, only his eyes and some of his hair could be seen from the top of the window. He also used his legs to help out his tail when hanging, since his tail wasn't strong enough to hold himself on it's own, but he kept trying so that one day he could almost hang like a bat with just his tail.

I am an Idiot, cause clearly I didn't read what Kuro did. He didn't actually approach them growling. He was merely observing. I crossed of what Daina said that scene and will be redoing that one. In addition I suggest Killua Godspeed <3 do the same thing)

Echo? what a strange name for a boy. "It's nice to meet you Echo," I said with a tilt of my head and a soft smile. It was too easy. Humans in white coats were experimenting on little kids. They clearly have no more morals... well... less morals than I do. I sat and watched Eiko eat the chocolate bar. He was very cat-like. Maybe that is how he is a non-human. His physical appearance as a cat. Non-humans didn't exactly need to have superpowers. My gaze lowered to my ungloved hand...

Eiko was about to take another bite, but was soon stopped. His ears were able to pick up the sound of a rather low growl. He looked around a bit confused since he couldnt quite pinpoint the sound.
"Nya~?" He questioned, his ears pinned back a bit. He soon pointed to the window, his eyes wide. "Nya, nya, nya, nya!!" He shouted, pointed at what seemed outside the window.

Midnight leaned forward in her seat, blinking rapidly to allow the mist of shadows in her eyes to disappear. It had been an involuntarily action since before she was a Shadow Elemental, though it was never Truly noticed until She had begun her training in the art of Shadow Manipulation. Giving a gentle sigh, she leaned back in hopes her eyes had changed back to normal, although it could be very unlikely.

Kicking her feet up on the empty seat next to her, the girl began to drown out the Professor and his lecture and focus on the doodles of her hand. She had always been one to doodle when bored, but when it came to doodling on her hand, this pattern was always the one she would draw. It had been odd, always drawing the exact same pattern over and over, failing to get it right every time. But, she was content with the drawing this time, despite the many flaws it contained. Biting her lip, she looked up at the Professor as he began to write information in the large board ahead of them. 'Useless, feeble information'. The girl thought, giving her eyes a roll before stretching her arms out and getting comfortable.

Lillian Wood

Lillian listened to everything going on around her. She didn't like to talk much, but she loved to listen to people. She silently waited for the Teacher to arrive. Lillian was pretty sure she was the only one who enjoined school. The only thing that keeps it true is that she's the only person she knows. Well, knows well enough to know that they like school. Sure she could probably name everyone in this class just by the sound of their voice but when it comes to knowing they're personal interest and personalities, she doesn't know one thing about them. With a quiet sigh Lillian started to daydream about her parents.

Simon glanced at Midnight's hand as she doodled on it before returning his attention back to the lecture. He noticed Kyro looking at her, but decided not to see what he was staring at. He didn't want to seem weird. Instead he yawned and tried to concentrate on what the professor was saying. He really hated drifting while he slept. Sometimes he didn't feel any ill effects. Sometimes it made him feel like he hadn't slept at all. There was no pattern to the madness.

He rested his head on his desk, knowing that the professor probably wouldn't care. Most people slept through this class anyway. He reminded himself that he couldn't sleep though, just in case he started to project. Sometimes it happened once he hit his REM cycle, other times it started right away. He never could be sure. He closed his eyes for a moment, just trying to rest his eyes a moment before he forced himself to pay attention again.

Lesile arrived at a good looking spot on campus where several students were milling around. Time to start the show. She removed her supplies from the table and let the table fall back to the ground. Then she flipped it up, unfolded the legs, and sat it upright. Then she went to stand by her pack. She unzipped it and dumped her supplies onto the ground. It was a collection of wire coils, beads, string, her rock polisher, a few tools, and a cash box. She stomped on the ground and small pillars of earth shot up from under the supplies, sending them flying in a long arc onto the table. A few things were crooked, but for the most part they landed where she'd wanted them to. She used a small wave of gravel to move her pack under the table. Then she taped up the sign:
"Handmade, custom stone sculptures and jewelry. $15 for necklaces. $25 for small sculptures. Ask about other options."
Finally she raised a pillar of earth out of the ground to make herself a stool and took a seat. Now she just had to wait for business.

The boy's eyes narrowed as he quickly withdrew from the window, now crouched on top of the train cart. His tail whipped back and forth, knowing that now he had been seen, he had to be careful. As he looked over the edge carefully to the side that the others were on, he thought about if he had been seeing things ... he could have sworn he saw the boy had ears and a tail like him. speaking of which, he tucked his tail back into his pant leg.

I wipe my tears away and turn off "I Love You Always Forever" by Donna Lewis. Rumbling through my apartment closet I find a tripod and my camera. Turning it on to record video I set it upon the tripod. As it starts to record I go over to the chair in front of the camera's eye and sit down. The camera capures my looks and I remind myself to explain that to them sometime in the video.


"Hi mom. Hi dad. It's Britt. I mean Britney. Audrey. What ever you remember me as. I know it's been a while since we talked." I thought back and added up the years. It'd been five years. Five years since I'd left home to be on my own at sixteen. Clearing my throat I said, "I'm twenty one now. Anyway. I'm making this to send to you because of what happened to Brad. I suppose you've both heard the news. Everyone wants people like me gone. Us non-humans. Well they took Brad. We were still together and they just took him and... got rid of him because he could see into future. He told me the government was going to convince the humans to start an elimination process of the non-humans soon. I was there when they took him and he sacrificed himself for me. He had a place for me to hide already set up and I ran there. I'm here now and I figured I should let you guys know I'm okay as of now but that soon I won't be safe. I changed my look to help disguise my true identity. I'm also trying my hardest to control my camaflouging. Oh and I've managed not to change the weather for almost a week now. I smile thinking my accomplishments a good start but it fades as I remember who I'm talking to. You guys might like to know I haven't changed much. I'm still stubborn and determined. I still dance to the beat of my own drum. I still brag too much and I'm still as sarcastic as ever." Thinking about some of my traits I don't bother saying I'm still pestimistic and nosy and adaptable. Nor do I tell them I continue to be shrewd, daring, and self-reliant. Instead I say quietly, "I still love you." I let a tear fall from my eye but I quickly rubbed it into my cheek. "Brad would not want me to do it. You both I know wouldn't want me to do it. And yet Brad knew I was unstoppable when I decided to do something and you both know that same thing. So I should tell you... I'm going to stand up against this. As much as I loved Brad, I can't stay in his hideout and do nothing and I know he'd understand that's who I am. I can't count on either of you to get it but I think I can count on you to support me and love me. I got into a college. Before you get too excited you should know I only did it to try and get information about whats going on at the Protect the World from Non-humans convention and of course to see if I can discover anything going on in the government. I'll eavesdrop on the professers there that hate us and the ones that have ties in the government. Also I'll attend the convention which is held at the college. Hopefully I'll just blend in and everyone will think I support the convention. I don't know what I'll find if anything but no matter what I will keep looking for ways to rebel against the government. I'm so sorry if my decision hurts you. I know there's a possibility of... death in this mission of mine. This may be the last time I talk to you for a while or even forever. So, please just understand why I have to do this." I look away from the tripod and take a deep breath. I get up putting my finger on the stop button of the camera. "I love you." I push the button down and the video ends. Slipping the sim card out of the camera and into a small envelope I seal it and grab a pen. I write Mr. and Mrs. Criswell along with my parents address and zip code where the reciever's info. goes. Before I put the envelope in the mail I remember I need to fill out the form for my therapist. She said it would help her diagoniss me. I only go to therapy because I've been having a hard time since Brad... passed. Sitting down at the desk I pull out the form and began to read and answer questions. When I was done the form looked like this:

I met Brad shortly after that and we became best friends. He eventually told me he was non-human too and after that we practiced our powers together. We started dating when he turned seventeen (I was sixteen then). I fell in love and it was then that I decided to get my GED and live on my own. I had always felt guilty for what my power put them through. I felt old enough to do it then and so I did. Brad didn't want me on my own so he got his GED too and we both got jobs and rented a place together. Life didn't change much after that until the government started printing things about a lab experiment gone wrong. I knew it was bad at the time but I never realized exactly what it would mean to me later on.

After filling out every single question, I was throughly annoyed. Why did she need to know all of this? Suddenly wary and suspicious of the form I gave it a closer look. Furrowing my brow I crumbled up the peice of paper and threw it into my waste basket. That was the last time I'd go and see a therapist.

[I hope the way I did the form is okay. I just wanted to add some originality . Also I looked up some synonyms for different and I got some ideas for names to replace non-humans. After all even divergent is just a synonym for different, lol. How about Sepers, Deviants, Alters, or Abberants? Sepers stands for separate as in from other humans and Alters stands for altered as in from other humans again. The rest are actual words meaning different and/or not normal.]

@ChattyGirl - I can't say I approve of your entrance into the rp before being accepted. But I like that spunk you've created by doing so. You're determined. I also like how her personality and determination and also her blantant sarcasm. I also like this 'Brad' character that was created for the sole purpose of dying. A Precognitive Seer. Someone who can see the future. I wonder if he could see the past? Anyways, although I don't morally approve of the execution of Britt's form. I like the outcome and also how you actually do not need to post a first-post. Britt Accepted. In addition I would like to use both Sepers (Pronounced as Sea-pers) as describe the non-humans who actually don't fully resemble humans anymore: Those with the cat-ears and tails, the bird wings, etc. And use Abberants as the Non-humans who still look human but have supernatural abilites: Like Leslie, Simon, Hikyro, Midnight, etc.; is everyone approving of this?)

His rambling was repeating now. He's gone over that sentence three times now. I wonder if anyone else noticed? Sure he's paraphrasing the context but it's all the same. I looked at the clock. It was a habit of mine. What was this the millionth time? ten millionth? time is inconsequential to me... a shame. I wish I could talk to someone about this. Rant to someone. open up one thousand years of pent up emotion.

Its still hard to believe that in one month, I'll be one thousand fifty four years old... Shocking that I still remember a birthday I don't celebrate. How old would they be? How old would she be? I looked over to Simon and gave a small smile. He had closed his eyes. He seemed extremely exhausted now that I look at him. Maybe he pulled an all-nighter? Maybe he has an assignment in a class we don't share. I looked forward again. The board was now scrawled with cases relating to some known non-humans. The class would normally be looking at the economic construction of society around the world. But that one stupid discovery... I turned back to Simon and Midnight, "I'll meet you two outside in the hall, I'm... done..." I told these two random students who I don't really know that I was leaving mid-discussion. As I picked up my bag and walked to the door, I could feel the professor's dagger-like eyes on me.

It's not like it matters. I could teach this class if I actually looked like a grandpa. I smirked as I closed the door behind me.

I was slightly confused, "What is it?" I looked to the window. There was no one there. I wasn't stupid, or born yesterday though. If there is a strange reaction, and a window, There is no doubt trouble. I trusted Echo... Ahkou? whatever... "We should return to a proper seat Echo..." I told the little boy. I was about to ask where his parents were, but remember he mentioned men in white coats I had a slight disbelief that he had parents still. I stood up and walked over to the door. I turned to Echo and pressed a finger to my lips to simulate being quiet. I opened the door, and closed it loudly. We didn't leave the room. I watched the window.

"Alright class, settle down, take your seats," The teacher entered the room and went straight to the front. Her gaze was youthful to an attendance sheet. Hard to believe she was supposedly forty-nine. This was the joke in our class at least. Mrs. Everchild, the forty-nine year old high school teacher. I looked back to Lillian; the thirteen year old who was actually in a highschool class. I wasn't surprised really. According to the gossip, she likes school. I bet she is truly a wiz at her studies. Mrs. Everchild went down the attendance sheet. "Grace Labelle?", "Coraline Light?", "Jacek Sin?" "Here", "Zahra Synnove?", "Lillian Wood?" There were other names, but I didn't really care to listen to all of them. Only the ones who had a kind face to them... It wasn't until now that I realized that my name was the only one I cared about that was male... I face blemished red as Mrs. Everchild began her discussion of Greek Language. Hallelujah!

(While I'm on the topic of future powers (great segwey Dyrezz - I know), I was thinking about other peoples. Kayden is the strongest in my opinion because of the diversity of his abilities. what about everyone else? what powers do they have to look forward to? I've not entirely thought it through but here are some ideas I thought of to help you guys think of your own evolution through the rp:

Simon - Astral Projection + Mental Fusion: It's obvious to me that Simon walks his Astral Form in the physical realm, when Astral Projection usually takes place in the Astral planes. I would assume that the more focused be becomes and the stronger he gets with this ability, he will be able to cross into the Astral Plane. In addition, the stronger he gets I would assume he will be able to separate other people's astral forms from their bodies. This is just a concept. I like the first idea for sure. As for the mental fusion, obviously it would have to be based on the mental capacity of the person. Someone who is focused is going to be harder to fuse with than someone absent-minded. The same should go without powers compared to someone with powers. And also with age. the young and old would be easier to fuse with compared to a teenager/mid-adult. With time/length of the rp. I would think Simon gets really good at fusing astral existences.

Lillian - Crystal Manipulation + enhanced smelling and hearing: the enhanced abilities can only become honed. I have no comments there. I don't know what the thirteen year old is capable of doing. But I assume it's going to be very basic. Maybe summoning shards of crystals. Maybe be able to move salt and sugar as she pleases right for sure. I can imagine her in a few months after practicing her power to be able to forming large scale crystal spikes as an attack. maybe manipulate stones like emerald, sapphire and ruby. After a year. I can imagine her knowing how to manipulate the grains of compressed sands in glass to her bidding. Again I don't know what Lillian is capable of yet.

Hikyro - Chronostasis: of course I know exactly what Kyro can do. His body is frozen in time but moves with time itself. It's why he is 1053 year old, turning 1054 next month. what's more is that he has no control over this. He will always remain ageless. To improve on this skill, since he hasn't at all in 1054 years, would be to stop/slow himself from moving in the timeline. This would be similarly to time-manipulation (He would appear to be moving fast, nearly impossible speeds, but to him, time is still pressing forward. In addition, maybe with another 1000 years, he could expand his range of Chronostasis, engulfing others to not be affected by the flow of time, or change their perception of time while their bodies still react normally to the timeline. Time is a very sensitive, yet powerful idea. I won't make any abilities of Hikyro plausible without consent from the masses (you guys).

Jacek - Reverse Gravity: I'm sure everyone can tell by now... I've stopped labeling Jacek's power as Personal Ability. I got this idea that Jacek will eventually become an anomaly. He will be able to reverse the gravitational pull, not just of himself, but of things and people around him. Books, papers, pens; bookshelves, beds; doors, water; walls; houses; even light eventually, given the black-hole gravity theory.

If you haven't noticed I'm basically trying to identify their strongest abilities down the list of characters.

Eiko - Wish Maker: Eiko is a special case. Wish Making is already very complex. Since he's granting wishes, this makes Eiko the most powerful life-form on Earth. He could make, or break reality in and of itself. How he hasn't already is still surprising. He's in the company of a devious girl so ultimate chaotic doomsday is bound to happen eventually XD. I still need to discuss with Killua the possible loopholes and countermeasures to Eiko's abilities so that he will always keep his power even if someone tries to wish them away.

Coraline - Light Generation + Enhanced Sight: Like i said, senses can only be honed. nothing can be changed by Enhanced Sight. Light Generation however... the first thing that pops to my mind when it comes to light generation is Yvaine from Stardust. The woman is a star who glows! Eventually at the end *spoiler* Yvaine's light is so powerful, it can vanquish darkness from every corner of the room without destroying anything else in the room *end spoiler*. That's what I can imagine Coraline will be capable of doing with her light generation. not be something to dimly illuminate a room, but being able to vanquish pure darkness (not shadow, mind you; I find Darkness to relate to void, and shadow being lack of light).

Midnight - Shadow Manipulation: Now Midnight, she is a tough one. She's already been practicing her shadow powers. and not just for herself, but for an entire council. that's deep and strong-bonding. I don't know whether to state that Midnight is already at her strongest. But she isn't in her most controlled. When she no longer subconsciously uses Shadow Manipulation along with her emotion, then she'll be stronger than she is now for sure. sorry Midnight for failing your powerups.

Kayden - Aura Manipulation: already discussed, He's starting with one aura and building his character into the other six/seven.

Leslie - Earth Manipulation + Seismic Sensory: Leslie is already a boss. She's not afraid to showcase her powers... but she might regret it when humanity turns against our characters (as Chattygirl has created for us as a means to ultimate plotline). She's already able to lift rocks off the ground. summon large mounds of stone... carve and cut rocks like nothing. I think the only way she could become stronger, and I mean super powerful. Is range. I assume her manipulation doesn't extend too far from her body. She can't be standing in Denver and be able to manipulate the rock in the rocky mountains, despite being able to see the mountains (I assume). So her enhancing training and practice will give her range and distance.

Grace - Air Manipulation: (now all we need is fire and water and we have the four western elements) Grace is constantly using her power. like Hikyro. but she's not exactly progressing in strength. like Hikyro. The difference is that Grace actually has the power to manipulate her talent. She can control it. So she can learn new skills easier than the man stuck in time's endless grasp. Grace I can imagine is very powerful, subconsciously. She can feel the presence of the wind around her and can move it. she can sense the wind around everyone else too. To give grace a super powerful state, I would say that Grace will be able to have the power to generate her own air. Something i don't think she is able to do (right Macabre?) Since Grace likes space, I was thinking that eventually the girl would be able to put air in that space. breathable oxygen. Or even able to go into places like the ocean in her own air bubble. I hope people are understanding where I'm getting at with this whole generating air concept...

Britt - Weather Manipulation and Dynamic Camoflauging: Like Britt has already said she's been practicing. Britt however is practicing to not produce weather. Meaning that she subconsciously controls the weather. Even better. Is that all Britt would have to do, is manipulate the clouds to go away for a cloudless day. However, I understand where Britt is coming from: by manipulating the clouds away, she is still tampering with Earth's delicate weather system. By having the power to not subconsciously control the weather, Britt returns Earth's system. In a sense, Britt's current weather manipulation is referred to as the Pluvial Zone. I think her strongest powers will be to manipulate the Seasons for long periods of time. This would include Heat, Cold, Rain, Snow, Clear Skies, etc.

Brad - Precognition: The dead boyfriend of Britney Criswell was probably, again, one of the strongest non-humans... er... Abberant on Earth. He could see the future. I don't know how accurate his precognition was. It could've been absolution, could've been a parallel future that will still occur but not in their timeline. who knows. he is gone. However I would still like to debate what his growth would've been like. should we decide: hey, a shape shifter saved brad's life by becoming knocking Brad out and going with Britney to the point of his death. I highly doubt that, those cliche's are usually boring, plus, the character might be a ripoff of Mystique from Xmen (love ya Jennifer Lawrence <3)... anyways. Brad was obviously in control of what he sees to a point. He can decide when he has his visions. I cannot deduce if he controls when in time his visions will show. As such, All I can determine is that he controls one aspect. which can lead to training and practice. As he practices looking through his visions, he can practice looking through time and therefore looking not only forward but also backwards in time. Whether or not he will be able to deduce the difference between the two will be beyond me. cause... once again... he's dead.
