Eiko hesitated for a brief moment before speaking up.
"E-Eiko..." He replied with a small nod. His ears practically stood up when he heard a stranger come in. His eyes were wide,just like when he walked into Daina on accident. His tail twitched as he stood up and scooted behind his new companion. He appeared to be frightened as he even dropped the chocolate bar on the floor to get behind Daina. He closed his eyes tightly, expecting the worse.

⊰Grace awoke to the sound of wind circling around her. She thought about the time. School must be today. Hm, she had forgotten about that. Brother must have forgotten. She hummed to herself, before lifting off the bed and onto the floor. Grace dressed slowly, slipping on a gauzy white dress and tying up her pale blonde hair. She slipped through the room, gathering her things and walking carefully out the door, hovering her feet enough as not to make a simple sound. Her movements were simple and refined, but reflected her experience as a dancer.

There was a car outside the house, but she didn't take it. School was close enough, even though she assumed she was late. It was just one of those days, she guessed. Sometimes you can't be on time, and that's okay. She didn't let her feet hit the ground, but hovered as she walked. It had been years since she walked without the air for more than a few minutes. She didn't like the feeling anymore. It was easy to forget such an alien feeling. No one seemed to notice her feet anyways. Or her at all. The wind rushed past her hair and swept against her cheeks. She smiled softly at the feeling, slipping into the school with a sigh. Recently she had stopped caring about school. Maybe it was the fact that she'd be graduating soon, or maybe she just didn't see the point. Either way, she still went. If not for long.⊱

"Late again!" I cursed under my breath. I was usually on time, but somebody took forever to get ready! I quickly put my glove back on, and tried once more to tame my unruly hair. The task was unsuccessful. "Okay, lets head to Humanities and hope we don't get in trouble!" I opened my mouth into a wide yawn, blinking away the sleep after. I grabbed Jacek's arm, pulling him with me as I ran through the school doors, towards our class. I tried not to think about how I could easily slide my hand down into his... C'mon. Best friends. Best friends don't date; it ruins everything. Still. My hand grew brighter inside the glove.

"You're late!" his aunt screeched, never really one for proper introductions. Formally, the plan for today was to introduce Kayden to college, due to his ah, past experiences, he was no longer required to attend his aunt's dreadful homeschooling. However, plans do change, and even in all of aunty Noel's foreplanning, even she couldn't predict sleeping in.

And while it was nice to catch an extra hour or so of sleep, the teenager couldn't help but remind himself while he was getting dressed, that it would become a price later. "Do I get the car?" Kayden rumbled out, while he was untangling his brush from his hair. Though in truth, the two of them each did have a car, one truck, and a newer navigator, Noel preference to act as if had one. So that she could be the one to drive her nephew around, she would be the one in control. And yes, she would be the one to make sure Kayden didn't do anything stupid. Like manifesting a glowing blue aura in a supermarket.

Coraline had started to run into the school, pulling me by the arm. my felt his cheeks turning red. we entered class where my eyes patrolled the room. Sitting down in one of the desks was their classmate Lillian Wood. I blinked. Class was settling, and fortunately, the Teacher wasn't there yet. "Phew, made it," I muttered to Coraline. "Sorry for almost making you late," I slightly gloated. She accused me of making us late. But we were still on time. I was unaware that her hand was intertwined with mine until it was time to sit down. "Um..." I felt my cheeks turn red.

An single reddish brown eyebrow raised in questioning at the male who proceeded to invite her after class for a social meeting of sorts. Puzzled, she tilted her head ever-so-slightly to the side; A single wavy piece of hair falling from her face frame. Brushing it aside, her locked eyes on the blue haired male, before darting her vision back and forth between the two. Never have had been offered such things in a long while, the girl did not really know how to properly respond. Would accepting the offer with a simple 'Yes' be in order? Or should she deny the request with a small shake of the head? Although she wanted to join them, she thought of the next class she had at the university. It being a sort of class involving mathematics, she instantly was all for the idea of 'hanging out' after class.

"I'm up for talking. My next class is one where they definitely would not miss me if I was absent. It's safe to say I'm less.. Presented in that class. Since I'm usually already on campus, no fun late interruptions such as I sometimes do in this class. But I haven't lately. I decided that even this Professor needs a break every now and then." With a sideways smile, the female gave a gentle shrug, pulling the pen away from her hand and wrist. A elaborate twist of vines and lines intermingled throughout her hand, starting at the base of her wrist and twirling around her fingers as they went up. Glancing down at her work, the female shrugged once more, scanning over all the flaws and mistakes that had happened along the way. She could never get it exactly how she wanted. One vine being too short or curling the wrong way. It was something she attempted to master, though could never quiet get it exact. Thus frustrating her, causing a spark of anger within. Her eyes slowly faded into a dark grey, with a smokey haze glazing them over. Her Shadow Manipulation had always seemed to be intertwined with certain emotions, though it mainly being anger or frustration. Ducking her head down and allowing her hair to cover her eyes, she awaited the haze to dissolve back to normal, hoping one of the men would not notice.

She was doodling on her hand. The artistic style seemed to resemble something like Japanese Henna composed primarily of swirls and twists. It's slightly saddening that some of the design was... in lieu of a delicate word, distraught. She agreed to hang out, mostly because her next class doesn't have that same 'stage presence' similar to this one. I was about to turn back around to pretend to pay attention to the professor, but something in her eyes caught my attention. It was hard to explain. Something... phantasmal? Spooky? deadly? There is a word of it, but I just can't think of it. The closest phrase I can think of is Shinpi-tekina seishin o motte iru kanojo; A saying in Tokyo meaning She who has a mysterious spirit. I wasn't sure if I should say something to her. She seemed to be hiding her face. I turned back to the front of the class.

It was stupid, really, the extremes she forced her nephew through, just make sure he was safe. As for what he was so 'safe' from, well that was a different story. His aunt was a rock, that was one secret she refused to indulge in. "Yes Noel," The teenager murmured, pulling on his shirt.
