""Yeah, again, sorry about that. Do you need any help finding the building or your classroom? I can shut up my shop for a few minutes and show you there," she said, "I'm sure as heck not going into the room with you though. I don't feel like another lecture."

(Since we're a little short handed, Kayden, I'll just scoot in an irrelevant character, Kayden, that can debate against Britt, Kayden, sound good? Kayden? Lol.)
"You..." I pointed towards a random student who was practically dozing off in the front of my lecture. The ignorance. But he also seemed very human. He might still be an Aberrant however. I turned to look at Britt as she descended down to the stage. The other boy joined her. "You both are going to be demonstrating arguments FOR Aberrant and Seper Cohesion in Human Society, and AGAINST Aberrant and Seper Cohesion." This seemed to pike the interest of some of the students in the lecture, "Girl, you're arguing FOR," I said aloud, "Since you seem to have poor taste in friends" I muttered below my breath in note of Leslie, "Boy, you're against, take to the stands. Boy, you get opening statement and one minute, go,"
The boy scrambled feebly to the stage, the girl strode confidently. I knew that she was going to be arrogant. I wasn't positive, but I would bet my left arm on it. The boy cleared his throat and begun introducing himself. A waste of time, no one in an actual political debate would care for your name, "The idea of Aberrants mingling in our society is atrocious, they are unguided and chaotic with their own powers that Man Kind cannot strive to achieve. A man cannot go out one day and learn to fly, There is too much uncertainty that shrouds Aberrants. And Sepers are worse. Animal instincts, bestiality, there are many unnatural things about the Sepers that Human beings cannot condone with." He made very obvious mistakes in his opening statements. Man Kind can go out and learn to fly... in an aeroplane. Uncertainty? highly unlikely. They've been in society for nine years plus already, confusion and misguided might've been more accurate. Sepers are still more humanly controlled than animals. They're not feral, and although they share animal parts, that does not include Animal DNA without rightful knowledge that a Seper has Animal DA in their blood. I wouldn't talk about these just yet, I'm breaking and molding two students today, not just one. "Girl, your opening statement with a response to your opposition; one minute go."

When Mr. Duke muttered so only I could hear, "Since you seem to have poor taste in friends", I rolled my eyes making sure he didn't see. Great, he remembered me alright. Well arguing FOR was good. I wouldn't have possibly known how to fight AGAINST myself. I stood and listened to the foolish boy as he spoke. He obviously knows little to nothing about debate. Mr. Duke had already told us the classic P.I.E. method would not be allowed but that was fine by me. I never played by the rules anyway. It's easy to make mistakes while arguing your point especially when you have about five seconds to come up with it. However this boy was perfect for my sneak attack. I played debate in High School and I learned a trick or two. One of those being the sneak attack I was going to use. The best way to cover your mistakes if you have a lot of them or you don't have a lot of time is to make your opponent angry. This common trick would not fool anyone with even a semester of debate from elementary school. Lucky for me this boy knew absolutely nothing about debating. As soon as Mr. Duke said "go", I spoke loudly and clearly with a purposeful teasing tone. Like I was almost mocking the boy. Come to think of it, I sounded exactly like Mr. Duke. "So I guess you've seen alot of proof that Aberrants are chaotic with their powers?" The briefest second went by where the boy looked uncertain. "Oh. Well if your daddy told you I guess it must be true. As far as man being able to fly I have news for you. They're called airplanes. And that proves that man can go out one day and learn to do... anything. Including learning to have a peaceful society alongside Aberrants and Sepers. Uncertainty is in everyday life already. For instance you are uncertain of your facts. Now with Sepers I have to ask if you know without any doubts, know that they have animal DNA. And of course the answer is no. Again there is already many unnatural things in this world that have been accepted into society. Many babies are born with unnatural defects. A mentionable amount of those defects are not even known. One hundred years ago a baby born with autism would be considered retarded. Now society has accepted them as normal and even figured out ways to help them. So my final statement is that Aberrants and Sepers are only unnatural until humans accept them into society. Upon which they will become perfectly normal and average." I shrug my shoulders and smile as I know I have mere seconds left. "Just like you." I step back from the table as my minute finishes. I may have been able to do better but with five seconds to prepare, I think I did pretty well. At least I definitely did better than the boy.

Impressive? no. this girl merely took notice of everything I had noted on the boy's performance. I could hear the shuffling of the crowd as interest began to spike. She started with talking about visual evidence. Addressing towards the audience with this statement. Not wise. other people have different experiences with Aberrants and Sepers. Drawing in a crowded view was ignorant of her. She made the same note I did about flying humans and aeroplanes. Good marks. Addressing the uncertainty of everyday is a good point too. She addressed his mixed facts. excellent. A jab at someone's facts is a great way to throw off your opposition from their points and leave their flabbergasted. She addressed the DNA issue with Sepers. This would be interesting if the Boy could actually say yes. but by the twitching squirming of his reaction to her words, I would say no. She brings in human abnormalities. Taking about how 100 years ago autism was rejected in society. A common fact. I stood and looked at the girl with both an approving smile, and daggered glare. She was either sassing the way I discuss myself to my class, or she was making her point. I disliked her rebellious style instantly. I turn to the boy, "Response, thirty seconds, go"
"I... There...Aberrants are horrible. the end." He said, the boy. and suddenly I had to end this debacle. "Enough, stop," I said standing and walking towards the two students. I looked to the boy. "The end? This is a university debate, not tea time with your grandmother. If this was a competition a judge wouldn't accept the end in a response. Take your seat," I said watching he boy stumble in woeful sobs. I turned my attention to the girl. She stood in a defiant pose. She either hated me or hated my teaching skills. Maybe it was my views of students she disliked. I couldn't determine what it was. "You were well-versed, knew the proper use of the sneak attack, and even made contributions against his case. What's your name?" I asked. I was going to congratulate her, and scold her. Break her snarky attitude because determined and defiant do not go hand-in-hand.

I didn't break my gaze with the boy until he had finished his hilarious opposition. Really? That was terrible. So terrible in fact I had to hold back the bursts of laughter threatening to come out. As the boy cried while walking to his seat I had to roll my eyes. What a baby. I mean really there must be some awful parents to send there kids out into this world when there like that. I turned my attention to Mr. Duke as he seemed to size me up. I didn't hesitate to look him straight in the eye. He seemed... Well it was hard to tell. A little curious and a little wary and maybe a little tinny bit... happy? That couldn't be right. Could it? Suddenly I saw Mr. Duke in a whole new light. Maybe he was a victim in disguise. I felt a strange empathy and a lot softer than my normal composure. Did I really have to be so tough on him? He wasn't the only one that had believed the ridiculous rumors the government was telling. Still staring into his eyes I asked myself so loud I thought he might hear me, What did they do to you? Not finding an answer in his stare obviously I broke the contest and let up my stiff muscles a little. I spoke without resentment for the first time since entering his classroom and said, "Britney. Britney Criswell." Then I waited and held myself firm of mind that I was not going to get mad at him. Not really because I thought I should go all that easy on him as to not be myself but because I really didn't want him to throw me out. I was on a mission. And I needed his ties into the government.
Leslie is the only one talking to you but you said you had debate and so I wanted to show you first that you are going to be late if you come and second what your charrie missed so you can add the right details like "he sensed tension as he walked in" instead of maybe not knowing putting "the atmosphere in the room was calm and peaceful", lol. You know what I mean. Don't you? *Eyeballs you* Hope this helps!]
