I smiled. "Finally!" I said. "One more question," I said.

"Yeah?" Hunter asked. "Are you sure it's just one more?" He asked her with a smile.

"2 actually. First, how did your parents feel when you got bitten?" I asked.

Hunter sighed, silent for a moment. "Let's just say the confrontation did not end well. I ended up on the streets, and my brother was dead." He said quietly.

"Hunter..." I said quietly. Impressed against him. "I'm sorry."

Hunter looked down at her, and sighed. "...it was a long time ago. Next question." He said, changing the subject quickly. That night had been the worst of his life. It wasn't something he enjoyed discussing.
