Hunter sighed. "Well..." He sighed. "Many, many years ago, I was at a friend's house. Eventually it became late, and I left to walk home. I heard something going on, in an alley, and went to poke around. That's where he got me..." He said softly. "I don't remember it well..." He confessed. "It was a long time ago."

Sky:
I nodded slowly and began walking. "Did it hurt?" I asked.

"Nothing can be compared to it." Hunter said, nodding slowly. "I spent the night unconscious in the alley, and life was never the same again after that. I tried returning home, but... It just wasn't meant to be." He ended suddenly.

Sky:
I sighed and pressed against him. "How old are you?" I asked him casually.

Hunter looked at her, hesitating, but only for a moment. "Well, vampires are immortal. How about you guess?" He suggested. "I will tell you if you need to guess higher or lower."

"Nope. I'm much younger." He told her, smiling. "You will get there. It won't take much."
