Marianne looked next to her and saw Shadow, "A-are you ok Shadow?"

Shadow's eyes softened and she sighed before slightly lifting her head. "I just.... There's so many new people. And most new people, don't like me. I'm just bracing for a wave of hate that's sure to come." She confessed in a meek tone. "I don't like being dramatic, so I just... kinda..... observe."

Marianna frowned as she saw her new friend was sad, "Don't worry, I like you! You're my friend and if anyone dislikes you, don't let them hurt you, ignore it. That's what I do since not many people like me.." said Marianne with a quiet voice.

Shadow blinked in surprise, and relaxed. She lifted the hood from her eyes and watched Marianne intently for a moment. As if she were convinced it wasn't real. "You, You really do like me?" She asked, in faint disbelief.

Marianne softly smiled and nodded, "Yup! You're one of the first people to talk to me without hatred or mean looks! At least I hope we can be friends." said Marianne blushing. She hadn't talked this much too anyone before and she rambled to her new friend, she hoped that wouldn't make her lose her friends on the first day.

"Yes i do turn into a wolf when the fool moon rises though im more like a walking sculpture of ice after that i'm a mix between werewolf and ice witch." Scarlet said though she was getting kinda unconstrable being there after that the fool moon would that night

Shadow blushed and smiled. "I... Yes! Yes we can be friends!" She chuckled and fully lowered her hood. Her straight black her fell around her shoulders and she glanced around nervously. Her canines were perpetually much like a cat's and it showed when she smiled. "And so, I've made two friends. And neither's tried to kill me yet. It's a new record!"

Marianne did something she never did before, she squealed and ran over and hugged Shadow, "Yay! I can't wait for us to hang out" said Marianne with a silly grin. She blushed as she realized everyone was staring at her and she hid her face with her hair and sat back down but still smiling.

Shadow yelped, mostly because it was out of the blue. But she grinned and blushed all the same. "There's no teacher here yet. And this is study hall. I think we could go and chill on school grounds and long as we are back by next class! Have you ever ridden on a panther before?" She asked with a mischievous and toothy smile.
