(It's okay, I don't mind ^^)
Seraphin
Seraph grinned lightly, taking a few steps around the general area she stood it to try and find a nicely sized break in the trees. If she was going to fly upwards, she really didn't want to have to crawl her way through a bunch of branches. Seraph may have been fine with heights, but she was no climber. She had a very bad sense of balance when it came to being on unstable surfaces, and preferred to either be on the ground or in the air; not somewhere in between. Cramped areas like big, busy-looking trees weren't very pleasing for her to be in, also. Open areas were much more preferable. "Got it. And you be careful, too, Toto." She reminded, sending him a friendly glance as she chose a nice spot. It wasn't perfect, and she was pretty sure she'd catch some leaves on the way up - maybe even a branch or a few twigs - but it seemed fairly passable. "I don't doubt that you can whoop their tails if anyone actually poses a threat, but just for the sake of things, don't get yourself hurt."
Seraph took one last look around, making sure her surroundings were fairly spread out so she didn't get herself hurt, before stretching her wings out with a little sigh of joy. Keeping them pressed against her back constantly was uncomfortable, but they were too awkward to just walk around with at full length. Chances are, she'd whack something. So when she did get to stretch them, it always felt great. Out of habit, she checked the little embers on her feathers to make sure they were lit, and then grinned to Toto. "See you in a little bit!" She chimed before lifting herself into the air, hoisting herself through the treeline with just a little bit of trouble. Other than some twigs caught here and there, and besides the mess of leaves that fell to the ground, she considered the take-off to be fairly successful without a running start, though it had taken effort.
Being up high felt amazing, especially since she could see everything yet again. She then let her eyes start to be more detail-hungry, and with a subtle dilation of her pupils, it became easier to pick up smaller movements.
