Nastu looked down a bit. "A scourceress of the royal family placed a curse on him. He had been looking into the cycle of reincarnation for the princess jasmine. So he often visited the royal family library in secret to gather information. The princesses family never wanted him to find her again. So they placed a curse upon him. Despite this he would often disepear to look for her. Every time he came home he was deathly ill. And after his recovery he would leave again to look for her. Once he came back and was sick for over a year. His body was frail and since then he can hardly leave the palace without catching an illness from being in contact with outside elements. So he his body still hasn't fully recovered from it. So until then he can't go outside for long."

Jasmine looked over at Akito again. "The...my family did this so many years ago? He just wouldnt give up would he. My family must have hated me back then." She looked down at her hands in shame almost. It was like everything was her fault.

"They didn't hate you, they hated him. Because he was a demon. But he didn't give up because he lived you so much. I'm sure he's only bitter to you because it's been so long and he's terrified of lossing you again. He may not act like it but he's a gentle person. And jasmine, yo were the person who made him the most happiest. He did and still does love you fully as much as anyone can." Nastu replied.

"He sure didnt act like it. He kind of treated me like a burden when I came here this morning. He said if I came, he would give me answers, but we started fighting. I think I caused his coughing because of that." Jasmine smiled a little though. "Maybe he was just cranky after having to kill that other demon last night."

Nastu laughed "we'll why didn't you say he battled a demon? Brother is always on a terrible mood afterwards. You should see him in the morning when he wakes up after a fight. It's because is demon imstincts are out. It's possible he was trying to drive you away so he wouldn't hurt you. Because a demons instinct is to kill an conquer. He probably didnt want to hurt you accidentally. " the small kitsune stated in reply.

"Sorry, it didnt come up until now. Course it was my fault that demon was in my house anyway, acoording to it I am just a stupid human and I guess I am for being nice. Anyway, how long does it normally take for him to get over one of these....fits?" Jasmine turned her attention to Natsu. At least he would talk to her.

Jiro closed the door to his house, making sure nobody unwanted entered without his approval. He then turned back to the young lady and said " Make yourself at home. Would you like anything to eat? Maybe something to drink? "

Mika listened to Natsu and Jasmine talk back and forth, but the one thing she didn't want to hear again was the story of her brother's curse. That dumb sorceress should have never done that to Mika's brother, and she certainly wanted revenge. Too bad she couldn't get it. Mika kept her spot on her brothers bed, watching him sleep, careful for him to not look too uncomfortable. She looked over at Jasmine and says " It really depends on how bad the condition is. "

"Okay. Well there is no use of us just sitting here while he sleeps. Do you guys have anything you need to do or want me to do something? We can always come back and check on him." Jasmine looked between the siblings. Surely they didnt plan to just sit here.

Mika turned her gaze back towards her sick brother, her heart seeming to break as every moment passed by. She would give anything for it to be able for her to take the curse for herself and have her brother be fine, but as far as she knew it was impossible. Mika looked back over to the human and said " I don't think I know of anything you can do right now. Unless you want to go ahead and help me make dinner or something. "

"Sure. I will glady help with dinner. Is it just you and Natsu and Akito that live here? And then that would mean just you and Natsu for dinner then correct?" Jasmine stood up and stretched out her back. She would glady help with making dinner.
