Set in a post apocalyptic New York where a disease caused society to collapse. Some survived, some died, well, they didn't stay dead... Some are cures for the world, who cant get infected and become infected. Its very rare but you come across some now and then. Though there is no escape from this dreadful world you used to call home, it doesn't matter how you die, you will come back till you get a bullet to the brain. Think there is a way out? Your wrong. Kill yourself, become a walker, bitten by a walker, become a walker, someone else kills you, you get the picture, bullet to the brain or the brain system broken will kill em'.
No one really knows how the infection started, wild news stories on the news before connection was lost, people making there own stories, rapture? Testing malfunction? Excreta.
When it first started everyone was panicking, going to the shops raiding it, braking into houses trying to run away from them. Cites and country's evacuating thinking they will be safe. First it was only in one little city, then it spread and got worse, the whole world is now infected. Evacuation camps as i call them, they are always tossing people out the the infected, thinking those people will be safe going out but not living. Though there survival camps, every one has duties to full fill, even if they are not in there long, there just being used. It doesn't matter, they pushed you over the edge and you left, clinging onto every little piece of satisfaction you get. Begging for another human to even talk to! Holding up in a little house. Though the group keeps getting bigger, and every so often they die, leaving you in pieces.
Every now and then you make runs, scavenging which is quite dangerous but you take the risk, food and med kits for now, how long will it last? when are we going to die off? Rarely a member killed but it happens time from time, your becoming cold blooded, but its not your fault no more... Five years in this post apocalyptic place would drive anyone over the edge.
