Noviss's eyes snapped open at the sound of Alex speaking. "You're both okay..." she said with a slight smile, giving off a sigh of relief. "You guys scared me to death." she said, frowning, her ears still back. "I didn't know if you guys were going to live..."

(Sorry! I keep forgetting about her...)

The nurse then nodded. "I will be back in a couple of minutes then." she said before getting a bag and going over to a cooler filled with ice. She then filled the bag halfway with ice and zipped it closed, covering it with a paper towel. She then walked over to Kino and handed her the bag. "There you are. Anything else you need?" she asked.

Noviss nodded her head and looked away, her ears still back. "I'm going on a perimeter check then." she said quietly before getting up and going out the door.

"Alright then. Call me if you need anything else, Miss Kino." the nurse said before going back over to a counter to finish the item inventory.

Noviss stopped and lowered her head. "If there are hunters, I have to take care of them. It's my fault if they are here because I've been hunted all my life. I should have never stayed here for this long. Now I have to get rid of them before they hurt anyone else. I can't watch anyone else die..." she said quietly.
