Nichole laughed at the question. "Well my dear," she said, "that is because I was in fact talking to it." Holding up the small device she continued, "This is a phone, a machine used for communication. With this I can talk to almost anyone else who has a phone." Smiling, the scientist tucked the device back in her pocket, and began walking down the hall again. "As for Rose," she told the girl, "I am afraid you're right; she is confused. Amnesia is one of the side-effects of the serum I used to revive her." Acting as if it were nothing she finished, "As well is vocal strain. That is why the man, Paul, who was in the room with us is unable to speak."
Rose gave a shy smile to the dark-haired boy. "Hello Gene," she said quietly. Twiddling with her fingers awkwardly she looked into Gene's dark eyes. She could not help but feeling attracted to the boy. Shut up you stupid girl, a voice rang in her head. You've only just awoken knowing no more than your name, age, and mother. Rose concentrated on his face for a moment. "I'm sorry," she told him, "But it seems that we've meet before, like its on the tip of my tongue, but not quite there." The girl blushed, "Forgive me, our meeting seems like nothing more than a far away dream in my mind."
