After I got my mom settled, who yelled the whole time, i went out for swim. I break for the surface, popping my head up and seeing a ship.

Nissa listened with curiosity, astonished the humans would live in such an environment. Was nothing done to change it? Their young must die often if humans enjoyed killing and the air was so polluted. If one went close enough to shore, the air turned positively revolting.
Softly, Nissa murmured, "It is not surprising, then, that those of your number seek to take what is of the ocean back to your world. It is a common desire to replace a thing of little value with that of beauty."

Iris drifted away from the mermaid as her wish came into effect and she started getting teary-eyed over another female mermaid, most likely her mother by the sound of the wish. Sentimentality wasn't really her thing, perhaps because she never grew up with siblings or her true parents. Either way, Iris deemed it was time for her to depart. The two mermaids would most likely be too thrilled to see each other to notice her, so she simply dove under the water and swam away.
The sound of an underwater propeller caught her attention and Iris found a rather large boat blocking her way, a thing of curiosity given the face not many boats ventured this far away from the usual trade routes. Fishing, perhaps? She didn't see any nets. Iris paused in the water, gazing up with curiosity.

Leija was in the middle of swallowing when she saw a human-like head rise above the surface of the water and felt it go down the wrong pipe. It took a few heavy coughs and a rough pat on the back from her uncle before she was breathing properly again, unsure about what she had just seen. " Don't forget to swallow Leija!" she heard one of her cousins say as the other two chuckled. " What, did you see a something?" Aaron asked, casting his own glance out the window. She rolled her eyes before responding, " Ha ha, very funny Aiden. Might've been something, but I could just be seeing things..." She doubted they would believe her anyway, like it was something out of a poorly written paperback for grade-schoolers.

Hamilton turned his back to the creature in the tank, deciding that he should probably remove his wet suit and get dressed. The scientist crossed the room without another word, and walked into the adjoining room, closing the door behind him. Just as he was about to change however, his desk phone rang, and Hamilton sighed and crossed over to it.
"Yes."
"Dr. Hamilton, sir- there's something showing up on the radar..." Hamilton's eyes lit up at the word, dancing with a cold, evil glint. Could I really be so lucky... did the creature's female show up already? Hamilton hurried out of the room, and paused in front of the tank.
"It seems as if your female has decided to join us. You two, if I'm lucky, shall be reunited." Hamilton narrowed his eyes though, suddenly deep in thought. The tank only just barely fits him- I doubt I'd be able to fit another being in it. His mind was working at a million miles an hour, trying to figure out a solution- before he stopped himself. You didn't need another tank if you missed the opportunity to catch the specimen. He quickly compartmentalized his thoughts, saving them for a later time when thinking of solutions would be more important. Hamilton walked briskly out of the room, leaving the creature alone, and hurried up to the main deck. When he reached the navigation room, he stood right behind the man in charge of the ship's radar.
"Where is it?" He asked, startling the man. The crew member silently pointed on the screen. oh- it was so close! But Hamilton calmed himself down- there was every possibility that it wasn't the creature's mate. It would not do to get his hopes up too soon.
"Ready the nets, and bring me my tranquilizer gun!" Hamilton shouted, while walking over and slowly bringing the boat to a stop.

Aurora's eyes widened as Celine was explaining what they would be attempting to do. She had certainly heard of a "wish keeper" berfore, they were subject of many of the pod elder's stories. And from what she heard, the wishes could go terribly wrong. But despite the danger, Aurora had already firmly decided that she would do whatever it took to save Neron. She couldn't just very well shy away because she was scared! Tears were still leaking out of her eyes, dissolving into the ocean, but a plan of action- even one as terrifying as asking a sea-serpent for its wish-granting scales that may or may not giver her legs- gave her more strength of resolve than it did fear. Especially since it would ultimately mean she would get Neron back. The siren closed her eyes, savoring the sound of his name, and letting herself feel the full force of her breaking heart before steeling her resolve for the task ahead of them. She could have no doubts when she confronted the serpent and made her wish... Aurora took a deep breath of the refreshingly cold water around her, before opening her eyes again.
"Where do we find the wish keeper?"

[ Sorry for my absence, school has been pretty hectic lately. And supergirl, I really don't have anything in mind - you could capture her if you wish, but if you'd rather not and just work with Aurora and Neron I'm good with either. ]
