Eli coughed lightly and sat up, fixing his hat. "Yeah yeah yeah.." he huffed quietly and leaned against the tree.

Gray

Gray laughed softly as she shifted around so that one bent knee could support her arm while the other leg was stretched out in front of her. She let out a content sigh as her muscles relaxed, her eyes fluttering shut for a moment.

Eli watched her quietly for a moment before closing his own eyes, but not falling asleep. He breathed out through his nose and tipped his head back.

Gray

Gray opened her eyes slowly, rolling her shoulders a few times as she did so. "How are you feeling, by the way?" She asked, glancing over at Eli. "Has the bleeding stopped?"

[xiao.]

"Fine.. I think it stopped.." he touched the back of his head, then his neck. Blood was still dried on his neck, but it had stopped bleeding.

"That's good. Trying to fight probably wasn't the smartest thing we could've done while you were just starting to heal." Gray gave a little 'oh-well' shrug.

Eli rolled his eyes, "It was your own fault." he folded his arms across his chest.

Gray smirked. "I didn't see you backing out anytime soon." She pointed out, raising an eyebrow. "But, yes, I was the one to get you on your feet. So are you expecting an apology or something?"

[xiao.]

Eli huffed and shook his head, "I deserve an apology, but Im not expecting one, 'cause I know Im not gettin' one." he muttered.

Gray grinned. "That is exactly right; you aren't getting one. I guess I could say I'm sorry that I'm not sorry, but that's kind of rude." She paused for a moment before adding "Then again, I've never really cared about being nice to others." She shrugged again.
