"Dude... You all right?" Gray asked quietly, a little concerned by the way he wasn't responding. Confusion was choking its way down her throat, and she didn't know how to solve it, making her feel a little stressed out.
Eli nodded and turned back to face her, letting out a deep breath. "Im fine.." he muttered, his voice wavering slightly. He kept quiet for a moment before bursting out, "It was real fire."
"Seriously?" Gray was kind of shocked with that answer, since so many pieces weren't making sense with the others. "But... It was on your hand! Did you get burned? And your hair too!"
Powers... Hadn't that one girl mentioned something like that before? I thought she was just delusional, though... Did I miss something? "O...Kay..." She chewed on the inside of her cheek as she tried to understand. "It doesn't make any sense, though..."
Eli held out both of his hand, in front of him, and focused until some flames burst out. He let the fire flicker on his palms, "Sure it makes sense.." he furrowed his brows.
Eli shook his head, "No.. but it drains my energy. The hotter it is, the more energy it takes." he forced the flames to turn blue for a moment before it completely burnt out. He fell backwards, panting hard.
"That's... actually kind of cool." Gray mumbled as he fell backwards. "Don't wear yourself out already, though. You never know what might happen." She smirked lightheartedly.
