"You must not ever venture into the village then," He told her with a grunt.

Shadow looked at him with a surprisingly solemn look, brow creased slightly.
"I may one day, if I wish for death." she said flatly.

Creed narrowed his eyes at her and dug his heels into the earth, stopping himself from moving with her, "Is that all you do is make assumptions about us?"

Shadow stopped and spun on her heel, meeting his gaze with a surprisingly sudden ferocity.
"These are observations, not assumptions. I have tried to enter your settlement before."

"One time something happens, maybe even twice, what did you expect? All they've ever known is fear!" He retorted.

Shadow was about to spit out another response when she suddenly stopped suddenly, eyes going wide as she tipped her head to the side.
"We've delayed too long," she said through gritted teeth as she started to pull him along again. "They've found us."

Creed followed her, ripping his arm free, "Do not touch me, Witch," He snapped, holding both blades in a cross formation before him.

Shadow just gave a frustrated sigh and continued on, raising her gaze when she sensed the presence of the town not far off.
"Almost there." she muttered under her breath.

Following at a brisk pace, he tread over the undergrowth that seemed to attach to his feet, "If you really want to help, you'll clear the ground for me," He grumbled.
