Lucas pulled away from Jackie and grabbed his dog protectively as she was almost hit. He was nearly crying. "Sorry" he said. He took the lead from Jackie and tied it around bis dogs head be didn't she didn't have a collar then tugged her from the road. "I don't think you should use your speed and bring me now" he said. "I don't want her getting hurt" he said.

Mace finished studying and left the library to walk home. He moved slowly and kept his head down.

Right before she went inside she could have sworn she saw Mace walking down the street but she just shook her head and went inside
