Mace left the cave and started to walk back towards home.

Lucas watched her. "I don't know much about vampire hunters so I wouldn't know" he said.

She sighed sadly and covered herself up before closing her eyes and drifting off to sleep.

Mace walked for a few hours then finally arrived home. He got lost a few times on the way.

Lucas sat down and leaned back on the tree. "Maybe it's because of the creepy blood drinking thing" he replied.

She woke the next morning with a scream. When she finally calmed down she sighed and flopped back on her bed. Every night she had the same nightmares and every morning she woke the same way...

Lucas looked at her and shrugged. "Why can't everyone just get along?" he said. "Vampires could protect humans in return for blood" he suggested with a shrug. "Vampire bodyguards" he laughed.

Mace arrived home and had the general chat with his mother about girls which he already knew and wished she would just shut up. He then grabbed a book then went to his room to study while listening to music. He went to bed late.
