Skylar shook her hands of their power as the troop neared the survival shed that was Symetrix's, apparently, and started to gear up. She headed immediately for the light, leather armor and strapped on a chestplate and pads, tying them securely at the ends. As she fastened on her leather boots and a clean, steel sword and its sheathe to her armor set, she heard Fauna's incompetence coming from the other end of the shed, at the very frontmost archway. She gritted her teeth, calling, "Hold your horses for just a moment! We all can't get ready at the same time, so keep your thoughts in check next time."

[~Star Grace~]

Faunas eyes widened dangerously, Keep my thoughts in check! I'll show you keeping my thoughts in check! she thought murderously to herself.

[~Beautiful Voices~]

Colbalt galloped off, full speed, his feet pounding the earth like thunder. As Shade and Colbalt reached the castle, she reared him to a stop. "good boy." Shade praised as she patted the panting horse. Dismounting, she unsheathed her sword and started sneaking towards the castle. Shade entered the old but sill beautiful castle. Freddrick was siting on the throne, her father's throne. "Shade, you came back." H said with fake gladness. "Get off my dad's chair." She growled through gritted teeth. "Okay." He spat, then he shot a shadowy tendril at Shade.....

Fauna was out of her mind with worry, she was still hoping that Shade and Crystal were all right.

[~Beautiful Voices~]

Shade dodged the shadow rope. "Not again Freddy!" She taunted. (I didn't want to take all of the glory for myself, so how about you guys rescue shade??) without warning, two shadow beasts smirked and dashed behind Shade, dragging her to the floor. "You cheater!" Shade yelled. "You never played fair, even when I was a kid!" She shrieked, remembering her lovely childhood.

[Scarlett;]

Skylar set the blade in its sheathe around her abdomen, glancing over to Fauna with a sigh. She was just... done with her fellow sister and queen's lack of patience with anyone, and the gleam in the animal queen's eyes just proved her point; Action wasn't always the answer. After all, patience is a virtue. And her sister seemed to be always changing emotional-wise. She laced up the last of her armor before she, too, headed for the entrance, waiting for the others as she glanced out to the mountains looming ominously over the trees.

Fauna saw people finally beginning to ready. She jumped up onto Melody and began impatiently circling her.

Oceanus had hardly said a thing the entire time. Her eyes were glazed, and she moved as one in a dream. "We have to do something about Shade," she said abruptly. "And Uncle Fredrick. I can't sleep thinking about them. I feel myself tearing apart, and something new and dark and terrible... the only way we can defeat the shadows is together. We've got to quite fighting with each other."
